Are these real models? I'm leaning towards no. If not they should be, lol. The details on the models are actually impressive.

Of course they're real.

Wargames Exclusive is the company.

Was not expecting that, so I could include these in armies and play games with them?

They're not GW models, but they're 'real' in the sense that they are models which exist.

You can include any models and play any game with them as long as your opponents are okay with it! I use models like this all the time in my armies, since enforcing 100% GW models is a stupid rule. Not even the local GW in Swansea enforces it, though I suppose I could get the manager in trouble by saying so. :X

Exactly this ^

The world is full of miniature companies and independant sculptors. It'd be a shame to limit yourself to just one manufacturer.

See this thread...

As unit says, however, you may run into some opposition to using them in official GW stores. In friendly games though, independant tournaments, clubs, FLGSs, you'll be fine. People love seeing unusual models. I certainly do. As long as they're fairly representative of what they're supposed to be, it should all be good.

This particular company has came a little too close to infringing GW IP once or twice in the past, but the are nice models.

Re-reading my initial comment, apologies if it came across condescending or short in any way.

^ +1.

Limiting yourself to purely GW models is like eating tofu at an all-you-can-eat buffet.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

This as well, even my local GW store lets you play with non GW models, so long as you are playing primarly GW models. IIRC the way back rule when GW was super anal about it was a model had to be at least 75% GW product, now they dont really care.

That said, on busy days when im in there, IE sat, i wont paint them in the store outta respect for the owner trying to make sales on GW products.

As far as i know, with GWs new marketing system, the only thing they are not gucci with, is bring it recast models. Which i dont blame them, but at the same time, im not gonna pay 800+ for a chunk of resin shaped like a reaver titan, ill just guy the recast.

With that said, GW does make some of the best quality product on the market, that you can buy mass amounts of.

By that i mean i dont think any other company has a 'squad' box that looks as good as GWs squads.

Now single model, there are a lot nicer models out there.

To many unpainted models to count.

Dream Forge does, but there are only a handful of large sci-fi ranges out there...so it's a pretty scant amount of competition.

Nope, you're all very polite. Compared to what I'm used to on the interwebz, it's a vile toxic place generally.

Not sure why my comment is being included in the quote, I'm typing outside of the quote.
