So we already know about the tank, custodian guard and sentinel guard. There will definitely be some sort of 1 man HQ and possibly a standard bearer. What do you think will make up the rest of this army?

I think they're going to end up like Harlequins where they're more for supporting an existing army than being a full force by themselves. A few infantry units, a character or two, a transport and some fire support. I don't think there'll be too much more.

Just my thoughts.

Considering FW's love of the Contemptor and the fact there has been Custodes Contemptor art for ever I'd think they will get a CD. Maybe some Jetbikes.

HQ - Captain, Command Squad
Elite - Sentinels, Terminators, contemptor
Troops - Custodes, Bolter Custodes
FA - Jet Bikes
Hvy - Grav Tank
transports - grav rhino, land raider, Spartan
Lord of War - Valdor

That's about all the units we have ever seen in terms of art or referenced.

They said there would be no rhinos or land raiders. And Bolger custodes seem redundant.

1) FW has already said that they are getting a full list in inferno, so they should be fleshed out (more-so when we get the seige of terra book, I assume). Methinks sisters will be more of the "support force" faction

Jet bikes Custodes
Contemptors
the Grav tank FW showed off
Grav Rhinos (FW has stated that we will not be getting these for pretty lame reasons)
Shield Captain (hopefully)

Emperor (as our lord of war please )

Where did FW say no to the grav rhino??

There is art for them and the land raiders in official artwork.

The Talons of the Emperor list in Inferno I expect to be more along the lines of the 1-3 choices for custodies per slot, a similarly small list for sisters, maybe throwing in assassins and the knights errant to boot.

All in a single list with limits saying you need X character to access Y units.

Just a theory but the way WD reads is that the inferno list will be a combined force list and not be a stand alone for custodies and a separate one for sisters

back in one of the HH weekenders is when they said no to the grav rhinos + using land raiders, their 'excuse' was that they wanted to do new things with them. It was at this same weekender that they mentioned Custodes getting their own full list, which makes sense for Custodes, since there were ~10,000 of them. Looking at the fluff of Custodes, the Imperium, and all that jazz, I figure Assassins will come eventually, but not tied to any list, and knight errants are generic HQ options for loyalists now-a-days, so I'm ruling them out as ad-dons to some "imperial super-friends" type list. Methinks sisters will get a small allied detachment-esque rules (i.e. 1 sister superior and transports) or will function like agents of the emperor and will be an elite choice for loyalist armies (like the knights errant and navigators, for example). Who knows though, we'll know more come February (barring ANOTHER delay )

Unless FW has changed their mind on the last delay, I wouldn't get your hopes up Hopefully we get some more hints at legions rules in the preview though!

I would love to see Grav Rhinos and 'Stodes Jetbikes, straight from Collected Visions artbook.

I wouldn't mind seeing more antigrav stuff like jetbikes. Not sure I really see any point to just recycling most normal marine stuff with Custodes flair attached, rather see new cool toys.

I'm hoping that Constantin Valdor is a special character. That would definitely get me to bite the bullet and make a 30k Custodes force.

HS: OK, so, Y'know how custodes have a thing where their weapons are built in CCW? Maybe some sore of custodes devastators with like, Archeotech heavy guns with melee weapons built into them.
One thing I noticed is that the Custodes kit, the arms are nut built into the torsos. So FW could easily make upgrade kits to the Custodes while GW puts out the base it
