Unfortunately as cool as the model look, the Deff Dread is very inefficient at what you want it to do and investing 160pts for one is a huge points sink. You'd be better off stripping it of its upgrade and getting a second Boyz squad instead.
For Nob squads, there really aren't a whole lot of reason to give the Boss Nob a PK as you want that wargear to be protected from challenges. I'm personally a fan of Big Choppas just to keep the Nob unit costs down but still pack a punch to beat down on infantries, light-medium vehicles, and sometimes MCs.

I think BD's advice on the dread is going to prove correct- it just takes too long to hike across the field and be useful.
That said, give it a try! It looks fun, the other models are all decent, and if you find that the dread is your favorite part, get him some Kans to shepherd around and a big mek with KFF.

I'd give advice based on what your trying to accomplish. Are you trying to just play a game and have fun with cool models or do you want to be more competitive? Both have their merits and I personally float between the two.
If your playing to have fun play what ever you want. If winning is more important to you ( and for some its tied to fun) then bikers armies are pretty hard to compete with here in my meta. I'm the only ork biker player of 3 ork players and the only biker army player at all in my FLGS.
Won my first tournament ever with the army in my gallery 1000pt ork bike list led by Zhadsnark da rippa.

looks good my man,
I assume you already purchased trukks n boyz? because otherwise a proxy Zhardsnak and troop bikers may be a harder hitting 500pts? supported by deffcoptas/warbuggies? consider swapping out the warbikers for deffcoptas, they shoot quite efficiently with twin-linked rokkits, and warboss can detatch to assault, if the coptas aren't rocking buzzsaws...
just a few thoughts,
GamerGuy

Just purchased Boyz right now. So your saying deffcoptas with rokkits? I plan on using a few at 750.
