Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

I have used R&H before as artillery support for my CSM or Daemons but this is my first attempt at a full R&H list. The tactic is to line up the infantry from the unending host in front of the artillery for a 3+ cover save and have them walk back onto the board when they are destroyed.

Vraks Renegade Unending Host

Renegade Command Squad
-Master of the Horde
-Covenant of Nurgle

Renegade Infantry Platoon

20xPlague Zombies

I have a few questions about this list and gunline tactics in general:

1. I took Wyverns for cheap anti-infantry, but should I take something else?
2. Are 12 rapier laser destroyers too many? With the renegades low ballistic skill I thought that I should take as many as possible.
3. Should I be aiming to set up shop and not move for the entire game, or is it fine to reposition?
4. What should I add in at higher point levels?

I am not really that confident with this list, as I am more of a running around CC kind of player, but I am required to build a fluffy renegade army for a campaign we are running and I want to get a feel for the shooty army.

The basic shopping list of good stuff from R+H (in my opinion)

Wyverns
Griffons
Quad mortars
Eathshakers/medusa platforms
Rapiers
Plague zombies
Spawn
Infantry platoons
Hydras (unless you just fancy ignoring all air)

Seems like you're pretty well on track. Then you've either got the choice of master of horde or ordnance tyrant, both of which have their pros.

You havent actually shown us what you're taking in terms of the infantry platoons.

1 wyverns are great. Griffons and quad mortars are also good.
2 I'd consider some earthshakers + medusas in combination with them. The RLDs are good though.
3 You'd need to move to get to backfield objectives? The UH should help with that though
4 some of the above

I took master of the horde for the regenerating infantry on a 2+, I decided against Ordnance tyrant because this army doesn't really require the need to shoot into combat.

The infantry platoons are just bear bones 3 infantry squads to fill the troops requirement.

So should I swap out some of the RLD's or the Wyverns for some other artillery? I am not really that familiar with them to decide on a good balance of single shot vs blast and anti-infantry vs anti-tank.
