Hey Dakka, I have re-established my ork army for a third time and rebuilding my warband. Not looking to net list but looking to see ideas for lists that are working, what are people pairing the buzzgob stompa with? What kind of kill team lists are working nicely? All point ranges welcome! Haven't played Ork's yet in 6/7th and the google hasn't been providing me with much. What kind of combinations are working for the Ork's?

I would sign this contract but I already ate the potato

Some general good units to fit into a list:
MANZ Missiles
Tankbustaz
Mek Gunz
Biker Boyz
Biker Boss with Da Lukky Stikk
Painboyz
Deffkoptas

You'll tend to want to use units in trukks and other fast moving ways of getting your units across the board. Also redundancy is key, tankbustaz in trukks are twice as likely to complete their mission if there's two of them.

Are people pushing a lot of that ork ghaz supplement?

The Ork supplement is only really used for a permanent 2++ Ghaz and all-game Waaagh! or for the Bully Boyz formation, other than that it was a pretty big burnout on the competitive front. In my experience (non competitive, non tournament but we take it seriously enough) as long as I produce a coherent list with sensible upgrades then almost all my lists perform about the same - it's fairly 50/50 if I win or lose, never get tabled and rarely get beaten too badly. For top competitiveness FW's Zhadsnark and Buzzgob's Big Mek Stompa are about the best you can do. Walker spam is probably the worst because they're all overcosted. If I were you I wouldn't worry about competitiveness unless you're aiming to do well at major tournaments and instead just go with whatever models or theme you like the best.

Walkers have gotten better with the Grenade nerf, but its still probably not worth it. But ya, that Detachment is only good for Uber Ghaz, but its a like 700 point tax to do it. If you have the stuff to run it go ahead, but if you need to buy them its probably not worth it.

Blitz Brigade has been my go to list for Orks in 7th. Its not a counter to every list so its tournament viability is not there (at least in the varient i run) but it does well enough against a majority of lists to be fun for casual play while certain matchups are just sorta auto loses.

Basically its 2000 points including.
-Mega Armored Warboss with Lucky Stikk
-2x units of Sluggas + PK Nob
-Tankbustas
-Flash Gitz (why? because i can)
-Meganobz

-Blitz Brigade with
-3 Killkannons Wagons
-2 single rokkit wagons

Dakkajet Formation
-3 Triple Supa Shoota Jets.

Its a real bear to fit in 2000 points and requires some points trimming to fit but its barely doable. Start of the game is basically 5 Wagons on the board giving a fall of AV14 to shoot at and turn 1 is basically a bunch of Orks shooting at stuff then turn 2 happens where all the Orks charge in (minus bustas and gitz) while usally the Dakkajets come on to dakka down things to soften them for the melee units or to hit the stuff screened behind melee units.

"Hold my shoota, I'm goin in"
Armies (7th edition points)
7000+ Points Death Skullz
4000 Points
+ + 3000 Points "The Fiery Heart of the Emperor"
3500 Points "Void Kraken" Space Marines
3000 Points "Bard's Booze Cruise"

This has been working well for me.
Gorkanaut Krushin Krew
3 Gorkanauts with extra armor

CAD
Big Mek with da fixxer uppers and a grot oiler
2 units of minimum gretchin
2 Morkanauts with KFFs
Buzzgobs Big Mek Stompa

The plan is to basically put a whole ton of AV13 and S10 on the table. You then just walk forward and see how it goes since it takes up the whole table.

My Armies:
Orks about 15000-16000 mostly unpainted but slowly being worked on
Militarum Tempestus about 2000 points just built
Inquisition about 2000 points unpainted
Officio Assassinorum 570 unpainted

That's quite the list. The hard part seems to be actually owning 5 Orkanauts + the Stompa.... that and Grav turning everything into lawn ornaments.

Having just started playing orks, I find that my lootas in their trukk never seem to fail. Taking 10 lootas +mek (11 man squad)with the possibility of 10-30 s7 ap4 shots at 48" range is enough to shred (or make a dent in)just about anything aside from terminators or AV14 vehicles. Having a mobile gun platform that can repair itself and guard my advancing tide has saved me against numerous threats.

That does happen. It is not as big a deal when you have 5 though just like every ork list numbers matter. It struggles with a few enemies but even with a very competitive group of people around here I've been able to win more than before. The look on the warp spider and scatterbike heavy eldar army players face is just great. Games normally consist of ok what can scratch the paint and ill kill it first. The worst matchup so far was against 4 imperial knights and I could have won that if the stompa had done one more hp to the atropos. Instead he did 3/4 necessary and died the next round. If he had live the crusader would have died as well and I could have mobbed the last one.

My trukks rarely see Turn 2. I wouldn't put lootas in them. Or maybe less than 10. Are people targetting this trukk a lot? Have you many other vehicles?
