Can a fortification hold a objective? like for exampel a Vengeance Weapon Battery?

I'm inclined to say no, but let me check the BRB.

It would have to have a capacity though. You couldn't put an objective INSIDE a Vengeance Weapons Battery. You can't put anything inside one.

No, it does have to go on top. But still!

Yes, a claimed building is treated as a unit for that army for claiming objectives.
