Depending on how competitve you want it to be...

Add in a celestial hurricanum
give it a balewind vortex?

I have played lots with Free people/Ironweld/Colliegate/Duardin and when building a list you need to think about the 6 scenarios and which ones are easy for the faction and which ones are hard.

We are strongest at Take and Hold and Blood and Glory because we can maximise the distance between us and the enemy, shoot them as much as possible and then go for a turn 5 victory (which is why Outriders or something else fast is always essential).

The scenario we struggle the most with is 3 Places of Power, and looking at all your lists I can't see how you are going to play to win that scenario. My advice is to add some tough heroes in. Probably a General on Griffin.

Other than that, a Hurricanum is hands down the best choice we have and beats a Steamtank easily for usefulness. I would say one is essential for all points values.

Other than that, your core looks good but I would replace the Cogsmith with Grimm Burloksson (same points) and drop the gunsmith (why is he in every list? You must love the model haha!)

Keep something fast in there always. 5 outriders is a great call and so is 10 archers to go on the far flank, stay out the way and run forward to deny/capture on the final turn.

It should also be said your 5x Organ Gun list is illegal. Only 4 pieces of Artillery are allowed at 2000 points.

I hope this advice helps!

Bye bye Dakkadakka, happy hobbying! I really enjoyed my time on here. Opinions were always my own :-)

The gunmaster is an engineer and provides rerolls to the organ guns. Ive also corrected the artillery list, but forgot to update it on here

Oh cool, well in that case I don't see much point in having both the gunsmith and the Cogsmith when they are both doing the same thing - plus from a gameplay point of view Grimm Burlokkson is still a better version for the same points.

Have you had much experience playing Three Places of Power too? I think you'll find all your lists struggle with that scenario (I struggle with it too).

I hope this gives you some useful tidbits to consider :-)

The best advice I can give is to listen to Bottle. She's been playing free guild since before AoS was cool (pre-ghb)! I will say that staying away from the Dispossessed infantry was a very good call since they are poor on the points-efficiency front.

Road to Renown! It's like classic Path to Glory, but repaired, remastered, expanded! https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/778170.page

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

He* man, he! :p

I've been playing them for a long time but it doesn't mean I am particulary good haha! So you can take my advice with salt, but anyone will tell you if you're gonna play Three Places of Power with only squishy heroes... You're gonna have a bad time.
