This was always my favorite loadout with the old Farsight Enclaves Supplement (minus the Gauntlet of course). He'll be as steady and solid as ever. You could always make him more durable, but if you are used to using the old Mark'O, you know how to keep him alive without the extra systems.
Brutal. I own one, and it just dominates. They really make use of the Injectors because they are huge targets for Alpha strikes. One thing that makes these guys great is their double threat:
-If your opponent is unfamiliar with them (in a tournament where you wouldn't discuss lists much before the match) they catch everyone by surprise.
-If they do know what the Y'vahra is capable of, they may be inclined to go right after it due to it's Markerlight independence (one gun auto-hits and Ignores Cover, the other is BS4 and up to 6 shots). If they do go after one, it still could live with it's 5++ or 4++, along with
FnP, and they wouldn't have put much of a dent in your Markerlights. If they do go after the Markerlights anyway, the Y'vahras will make them regret that decision.
I see why multiple ObSec Deepstriking Suits is appealing, but I would think you could find a few points to give them at least one Missile Pod or Fusion Blaster each, just to give them a small amount of tactical flexibility. If you dropped a couple of Suits, the AFP on the Surge, and the Commander's Gauntlet, you could free up 46 points for weapons. I could see how the extra ObSec may be more useful then that, however.
No Shield, ballsy. As we have discussed on other threads, I love the VT/Blastcannon combo, it really makes short work of Fliers; even a Grimoire'd Fateweaver doesn't want StrD coming his way.

The Ghostkeel Wing is three separate units of Ghostkeels, so the Target locks could be swapped out with EWOs.
These guys will make great use of the Wings Networked Stealth Field. Min squads of drones hate taking casualties, with their awful Leadership, so this will make their Jink that much better.
Love this guy. With his deployment flexibility, and annoyance to deal with him, he makes a great distraction. If your opponent can't get rid of him easily, he can ruin an entire game for someone.
The Shrike wrote:The lists are largely the same except for psychic D. Do you think I need the Cullexus?
You could always try a single squad of Sisters for almost half the cost, they are a bargain at that price.
The Shrike wrote:I also imagine people will question the lack of shields on the surge, but he'll be advancing within the shrouded bubble of the GKW.
Ghostkeels will only kick off Shrouded if the unit already has Stealth. If you roll on the Strategic table for your Warlord, you could get Night Attacker or Conquerer of Cities, both can give Stealth to the Surge, so he can get Shrouded too. The Ghosts will spread around Stealth otherwise, which is still great.
