The Dark Eldar actually maintain there technology level and invent new things. The craftworld eldar are only good for psychic tech really and are otherwise quite dumb all things considered. Also the DE need proper formations real bad and I think some of their models could do with a minor refresh. They sold decently (lower mid tier) until the great destruction of the new codex annihilated their rules and options.

Also I am fairly certain we'll see Exodittes this year since there seems to be a lot of chatter and rumor around them.

Edit
I am now super hyped and about to be broke.

Things I need. I still need to get a Tau Barracuda or two from FW, I need to finish DW, I need to finish my dark eldar battleforce, I need the new DE model, I need the new Tau stuff, and if FW puts stuff out, and if they bring out new armada stuff this year.

Edit2
I need to finish my Ta'unar since my magnets finally showed up.

It's not gonna be finecast.

The only way this year could bring an ultimate end to my wallet is if they update the Manta at FW. Please don't do it FW. There is too much gak in one year. It's all too good. :(

Happy song time.

I suspect this year is going To be primarily chaos and Imperial with the Eldar playing a supporting roll.
That seems to be the usual Black Crusade formula, so it's certainly likely.

Unusual for it to be the Dark Eldar getting involved instead of the Craftworld Eldar or Harlequins, though.

After the Eldrad debacle they may be trying to move the Eldar background into a more unified package like they did with the Elves in AOS. Perhaps with all of the Eldar unified the Dark Eldar are helping them because they're more familiar with the webway. As for Harlequins, we know that the Thousand Sons story line isn't finished. The moved a planet and both Ahriman and Magnus disappeared. I wouldn't be surprised to see some Black Library shenanigans in the future.

One chapter has been carrying the team on the Eastern Fringe for 10,000 Years, the other has been crusading eternally to rid the Imperium of enemies.

There seems to be more enemies than ever, so, those Templars must not be doing a very good job!

Well with Eldrard royally screwing the plan to get the Eldar God of Death around and possibly screwing up all the lives in the infinity circuits the DE are pissed at him. The Harlies had this plan for all people not just one eldar faction. So it makes sense the DE now need to pick up a lot of slack since the CE are going to be reeling from this loss. I expect Exodites rumors tie into this.

"Carrying" the team. Guess all those other Chapters are just for decoration. And no fixing the mess you started *cough* Tyranids *cough* doesnt count as carrying the team.

Why would the DE be pissed at Eldread - not sure they would have been betetr off with a resurgant Craftworld focussed god.

Exodites would be great.

I was worried when the CIA codex was released but GW seem to be hitting the right marks time after time recently

You can't kill Slaanesh unless you eliminate desire and the like - isn't the Ynead thing is that he would defeat Slaanesh and take back the Eldar souls (and maybe Gods) Plus it should have been the wraith Seer from Iyanden not Eldread.

Well unless Ynead went after them next? Eldar Gods tend not to be very forgiving.

Maybe we will get a campaign to release Isha - that would be fun

Magos looks absolutely fantastic, among the best models I've ever seen. Probably will be a giant pain to assemble.

Fall of Cadia sucks thought. I have no faith in GW making any big plot advancement after the disaster AoS turned out to be.

Well, well, well...Where are the Doomsayers, now? Yes, retreat in your dark holes, by Fire and Faith you shall be cleansed!

Seriously now, it's such a pleasure to see that new Living Saint. I hope she will be a Lord of War, destroying everything in her wake.

Basically, they use the same trick than AoS Prosecutors. It's good to see their design is very similar to the metal sisters. I will glady take those as soon as they are available!

I'm starting to seriously think this, we may not be getting actual basic SoB after all, or a codex. Just an epic unit that serves a purpose in the campaign book. If thats the case i'll be pretty bummed, still gonna get those models anyway.

I'm sure there are some very embarrassed posters keeping quiet right now. There were quite a few who were very very vocal about how Sisters were getting squatted and that the bin video was not going to yield ANY plastic sisters of battle, and how it was all about the sisters of silence from the Prospero box.

I doubt it's anything more than Celestine and her bodyguards. This isn't a Codex release, and the fact that it's three special characters means, to me anyway, that none of the armies involved ('cept maybe Templars) are getting a full update.
