All I can make out but there is more I can't.
Spoiler:
All I seen is Cadia is 100% destroyed at the end. Pylons got overwhelmed by some sort of immaterium resurgent. Trazyn??? Something about collecting and trolling everyone. Celestine is dead or close to it. She may have managed to flee. She got bitch slapped by Abbaddon pretty bad. Abbaddon laughing at the end since Cadia is finally his.

That aside that means the end of the book story is probably them in the webway since that is the only possible logical place I can think of for the webway gate picture to be. I'm talking about the picture GW showed with the Dark Eldar in the webway. That or the very beginning, but I doubt that is the case.

The Tau did come again after Mont'ka. They got the new FSE codex and I think the Tau Ethereal + Commander bundle added to the webstore. That bundle also had the new Ethereal on hover drone which I think at that point had only been available in the boxed set of tau vs marines.

So I was right. I may have hoped for more, but I was right they got "something". I was a little disappointed the FSE didn't get a unique model, but alas at least they got "something".

I said there could possibly be something coming for the Dark Eldar and lo and gangs was announced. That is all I ever said. I never specifically said a new model would be coming in gangs, I had hoped and speculated it likely but not so likely I bet my life on it.

You keep mixing in my hopes and wish listing mixed up with what I am definitely saying is going to come. It's entirely the fault of your own reading comprehension I'm afraid.

However I did up my ante on DE and said they would get a new model or an updated kit by the end of the year since I'm fairy certain of that one. I could be wrong on this one and if I am going to be wrong this would probably be the one.

Saying 'by the end of the year' is such a load of gak, though. Someone could've said Sisters were getting something by the end of 2016, and been technically right, it doesn't mean they really got anything worth noting in fact, their army list lost Celestine, and now they have to buy Cadia in order to get et her back! The Tau getting their model released in a clam pack isn't really getting anything, unless GW reboxing the Marine Terminator captain with a squad of Terminators and jacking the price up counts as 'getting something'.

I have a friend that insists being technically correct is the best kind of correct, even if I think is absolutely wrong in the context people are talking about. I suppose you are technically correct.

Here's my 2017 predictions:

More Space Marines
More Chaos
More Xenos

I can't tell you when, what, or how much of any of it, but if it's true in any sense, I called it! Put me on the tracker pretre.

Gotta love it when conscientious people take the time to put spoilers in spoiler tags, only for others to then basically give the game away by replying with no tags

I don't particularly care, but some might, and it's only polite to keep spoilers tagged seeing as the product isn't even out yet.

Has anyone talked about this. On the New Zealand store the enhanced iOS version of fall of Cadia is $50. Curse of the Wulfen was $92. The regular Ebook is $37. The physical book is $99. In the uk the physical book and the enhanced Ebook are the same price. What is going on with these prices?
Edit, just checked the Ebook in Australia and Japan is similarly discounted. I hope this is a trend going forward.

Sorry, by in order I meant 'in the correct page order'. The page talking about how it's an age of darkness (the typical blurb about how Humanity and the Imperium is boned that we get in every book) makes me question it, though.

That she had to give up pieces of herself to come back and be reformed? Pure coincidence, I assure you, definitely not reusing plot elements at all!

They are both based on angels, so it is not much of a surprise. There are no new stories.
The pages on Atia's blog are just the official sample pages. If those are the pages they are sharing, it makes you wonder what else happens.

You do know that the old sisters codex is still valid?
That Celestine was never removed from the sisters codex?
And that you don't need to buy fall of cadia to use her?

Completely ignoring the fact all the new models have rules in the box GW flat out stated the old sisters codex is still valid and the imperial agent book isn't a replacement sisters codex.

It's the Ultramarines. Suck it, nerds!

(Look at the last image, the army picture, on the fall of Cadia book page. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-NZ/Gathering-Storm-Fall-of-Cadia-HB-ENG )

Not just any Ultramarines either... it's the Ultramarines from Betrayal At Calth!

Inb4 Trazyn pulls them out of his pocket after 'acquiring' them during the heresy.

It's seems weird they'd use the Calth models, so it must be deliberate (either due to plot or to try to push more people to buy them).

They're also hiding Wulfen in the corner, in front of a good number of the Templars. I mean, we knew they were going to be featured in the campaign (both due to the ending of the Fenris campaign and the fact that it's been mentioned that Greyfax is appalled to see them).

Ha. Was just going to make this comment about the "30k" Ultras. (Realize there are 40k rules though) Make Abaddon feel at home?

So this is the retconned 13th crusade, and not the 14th? How many has that been thus far?

Interested to see which loyalist primarch they bring back to hold the line!

Good luck with that. I saw the book advertisement, and it pretty much gave it away.

I'm sorry, but I am not going to bite at a 10 man squad of sisters for over $100.00. Cocaine is a hell of a drug, but GW is much much more!

As to the campaign, I'm fine with just making my own. My boy came back from college, we pulled out his Tau, and I am now adding an IG squad to his forces. Weapon load out with pulse carbines, and lasrifles and a support weapon flamer from his battle suit bitz box. Cost- 20.00, tops. (Maybe the paint costs more.)

We went down to the local UFLGS and looked up an additional battle-suit team- $65.00, same box, new and improved price. (WTF Games Workshop, are you bucking for early retirement?) We won't ven get into the GW wall getting even smaller, and smaller, and the tables get emptier, and emptier.

It's strange to see another generation go off on GW's bang up sales hook of such great prices, and shoddy product from a new generation. They had better be concerned, too. The kids these days riot in the streets over their issues...

Add in the fact that this is the 40K equivalent of the crap they pulled with Warhammer Fantasy, and It pretty much cinches it for me.

So much for a tabletop game that you picked up with your extra lunch money, or snack cash...

It's not the same Battlesuit Team FYI. The previous sets were single Crisis Suits for $15, and they only came with one of each weapon/system.

The Battlesuit box, while extortionately priced, has two of every basic weapon type for each suit and two drones with parts for all types.

If you're after a Battlesuit Team, you're actually better off getting the Start Collecting Tau set which also contains a Fire Warrior box.

I respectfully disagree.

The last time I picked up a 3 model box of battlesuits, they were 40- 45.00. for 3. each one was basicly the single 15.00 ones, but 3. No metal adds, no snacks. basic plastic sprues. THIS was the same box. 65.00. I looed over at the owner, got the sympathetic look, and just left it. I'm going to ride feebey at this point, and even then- I don't know.

Bottom line is that the game is out of control, if that is the real price. My kid said it best- Why?

When was the last time you picked up a three model box?

When it was three of the $15 kits sold together, with two Gun Drones and one of each weapon.

That was the whole point I was attempting to make, Grot. It's not the same kit anymore.
The Drones are now actually on the Crisis Suit sprues themselves rather than single sprues, and they don't just build Gun Drones anymore.
You don't need to buy two Crisis Suits to double up on Fusion Blasters or Plasma Guns or Missile Pods.

Like I said, I agree with you that the price is too high--but the kit is present in the discounted Start Collecting set, and basically is the biggest reason why I will not buy a set of Crisis Suits by themselves.

I'm curious as to why a CSR is weighted heavier than a Facebook rules team.

Because
a) the rulebook is still sold and
B) the named cannoness literally states both books are valid because she can be taken In either codex

In other words rules team trumps everyone!!!
