If Abbadon got tbat worked up I reckon one of the freed may be Loken.

Your last point is especially laughable and comical, because not only the 7th ed Valkyrie shown dumber things (like being able to throw the troopers without parachutes out of its hatches, no harm done) - Irbis

Earlier in the thread when the IoM triumvirate was revealed said something along the lines of oh this is what they are doing as if this was familiar. Did end times also have triumvirates? With the expectations the Eldar will have one who else do we think will have one?

Don't think there were any for End Times, nothing that comes to me straight away anyway. It was mostly single characters, Glottkin, Nagash etc. Well...... the Mortarchs of Nagash were technically three characters in one box and Glottkin were 3 brothers, but no I don't think there was a Triumvirate for Fantasy.

It would be nice to see more for other armies. Obviously the Eldar one but I'd love to see a Necron one, maybe a big war construct with the Stormlord and Trazyn.

Orks would be a good one to get a plastic Ghaz in there, Tau could have an Etheral, Commander and something new. Chaos could get a big ol Daemon Prince at least.

Box-wise, no we didn't get anything like the Triumvirates.

We had the Mortarchs, Glottkin, and Nagash.
Then towards the endingest of the End Times we got the "Incarnates", which were just existing characters(Malekith, Tyrion, Teclis, Grimgor Ironhide, and more) who got given new statlines but no new models.

It would be nice to see more for other armies. Obviously the Eldar one but I'd love to see a Necron one, maybe a big war construct with the Stormlord and Trazyn.

I don't think we'll see boxes for every single faction. I can't support that with facts, but something about that just feels off.

I could see new characters and maybe a new unit or existing unit from Finecast to plastic for sure though.

Orks would be a good one to get a plastic Ghaz in there, Tau could have an Etheral, Commander and something new. Chaos could get a big ol Daemon Prince at least.

The Tau have basically already got a Triumvirate box...it's just two models though. The Cadre Command is an Ethereal on Hover Drone and Commander in one box.

Also, I can't claim credit for this, but someone has suggested that the red armoured figure might be a Wraith construct of some kind. The art puts him at roughly the same height as an Astartes...which seems a bit off for Eldar?

A Chaos Triumvirate seems inevitable with a new Abbadon, Bel'Akor and some other Chaos bad guy?

So we are most definitely going to see the Death Masque Eldrad reissued.

If the Tau get a trio then it would be Farsight, Shadowsun, and a new space pope or possibly a third Tau of some import. Likely a new model/character. Unless GW goes a completely different direction and adds in new characters for us. Which I find is unlikely.

Hmmm running on the theory that the red eldar is a construct, maybe captain fethwitt did not srcew up eldards plan as badly as first thought.

Could be that ynnead was born but without a body and now he has a shiny new one. Who else but death could get the deldar in line?

Also I like to think that Eldard sent Captain Lector a txt telling him the fall of the IoM was down to him.

I love how when we get one of something, it becomes the new thing that GW will keep doing.

I can perfectly explain this. I wonder if GW know they are this predictable.

Edit:
Aun'Shi is kinda lame so I hope it's not him. Stat wise and lore wise.

Well obviously I don't think every box will be called Triumvirate of ___________ but I can easily see them doing more multiple character boxes for these campaigns.

There was that rumor of C'tan returning... anyone hear anything more on that?
Redone Deceiver and Nightbringer and a Void Dragon would be good.
Hell, even just redone rules for the C'Tan would be great.

I doubt they'd care unless there was threatening involved. Dark Eldar don't seem the religious types outside Incubii. I like the idea of it being a Corsair.

I have been a big fan of the void dragon so if they bring him and the C'tan back I will def consider getting the model. I'm considering getting the plastic lord of change just because it looks so cool, but unfortunately I've got so much I want to do.

I want to get the beastclaw raiders and two tau barracudas going this year and that's over half my yearly budget. After that I only have a limited amount left to split between new tau releases, dark eldar, and any new possible xenos they might release (exodites are supposedly coming). The deamon is likely going to have to wait.

What in the world does “The Detachment must also include units that have at least two different factions.” Even mean??? Do they mean to say “This Detachment must include units from two difference factions?” How can a unit have at least two different Factions?

It means what it says. The Detachment must also include units that have at least two different factions.

So you can take Black Templars and an Inquisitor and have the Detachment requirements met.

Oh. I have to mix and match all of my units? Independent characters everywhere?

My templars don't like psychers. Or girls. Or Xenos. Xenos Girl Psychers are right out.

But wait. I can only have 4 HQ slots but 6 FA, Elite, HS, and infinite troops.

How the feth am I supposed to run this stupid detachment?

There better be a Metric, or at least Standard, feth Ton of independent characters that aren't HQ choices.

It means you have to throw at least two different factions in the army, not each unit.

So you can't build straight sm with the castellans list, you have to add at least an inquisitor or a priest to the army.

I'm really stuck on this gakky, gakky wording. “The Detachment must also include units that have at least two different factions.”

Does this mean that has to be at least 2 units that that at least 2 different factions since it says "include units", plural?

Is Crazyterran right and i just need a 25 point inquisitor to be kosher?

A Detachment is made up of Units. Units have a single Faction, they cannot belong to multiple Factions.

You just need to have the Detachment consist of two different Factions.

Then I really wish they had said that.

I'm not lashing out at ya'll, just GW.

"This Detachment must include units from at least two different Factions" is what that should have fething said. As written, it says that you better have a unit A and unit B that contains models from Faction 1 and Faction 2.

What plastic sister rumours? It's been confirmed there is no plastic sister rumours. That seems misleading now to say "plastic sisters" since I would take that as a range instead of just the HQ choice. Maybe it's time to close the thread then?

Oh, I know. But that's not what they said. They said "must also include units that have at least two different factions."

I'll drop it from here. But they're getting an email from me. Oh yes, they will be emailed!!!
