The changeling is so-so model wise. The bottom half of the model looks kind of uninteresting. The lower robes make it look a little plain.

I like the old model better as well. except for the weak staff.

Is anyone in the US still waiting on their White Dwarf to come from GW? This is the second time this has happened!

I am going to request a voucher or something in addition to having them send the mag and add another one on to the end of my subscription. This is ridiculous.

That's why I cancelled my sub. Out of 4 issues I had one early, one just in time and two that I had to contact them to chase.

I'm sorry, but the Royal Mail isn't bad by any measure, and to blame them for two out of four going missing smacks of denial more than anything.

Only the first one was terribly late, the other three were more or less on time. But 3/5 is pretty awful.

Weird, all 5 of mine have been the Monday before release (except the last which was the Tuesday, Monday was a bank holiday).

I thought that, but there's already 7 pictures in that one quarter of a clock, so there's more than 12 on it.

The first place I've seen that picture is the 6th edition rulebook, p. 157 (it's a two-page spread, the clock is on the right-hand page with the title "Auspicator Cartogrium"). It only shows the quarter of the clock, so if there is more to the picture, I don't believe it's ever been released. The full clock looks like it should have 36 figures.

I think the clock is supposed to represent "2 minutes to midnight".

That's the chap.

So looks part 1 of 4 -- unless the other boxes are a different size of course.

Gonna assume one set will be Eldar --:

the Farseer/whomever with the Gyrinx mini

The figure in the odd mix of eldar armour -- who I think is Yriel -- IIRC he is something of a "half blood" having both craftworld & dark eldar parents.

and a 3rd figure ..? A full darkeldar mini would make sense -- 1 craftworlder, 1 dark eldar 1 who "walks the path of both worlds" or what have you.

is the plastic eldrad available yet ? be him if not -- he's mentioned in the new book.

..or , of course, just some cool art to stick on the box.

But one wonders if the assembled image could then be seen as a countdown to 8th edition ?

Or something.

Again, this is actually old artwork - you can see it in its entirety the Dark Millennium book in the 7th Edition rules.

So, to save me from having to sift through 95 pages of discussion, outside of Celestine, has there been any word on plastic sisters (in the near future) yet? The new Celestine is lovely and all, but I wouldn't be able to justify buying her without proper accompaniment, and I've wanted to do some sisters for the longest time.

I just noticed - the clock hands have moved from the picture in the 6th edition rulebooks. It basically had the time at "5 minutes to midnight" (two faces earlier).

No news. She has an accompaniment though, in the form of her Sisters Geminae.

It certainly has moved... It's moved approximately two minutes from the 6th edition book by my estimate.

Curious, and subtle, development.

Take it easy.

Edit: Moved from the 6th edition rulebook to the new box art from the Triumverate we're inspecting.

The 7th edition one from rulebook is already moved, and not just the clockwork, the Outer main sphere at left has moved already as the little one at the bottom left.

Now it would be interesting to compare the 6th with 7th with the current one being show.

Well, I know of her two BFFs, but building a full Sisters detachment with just them alone would prove difficult, even with top notch conversion skills (and a very deep wallet!).

Nothing to do but wait and hope, I guess.

So, the Castellan list is an exercise in how to make Coteaz even sillier, right?

Is that Triumvirate box a limited thing, or will I still be able to get one in 6 months? Same for the book, will it be continually available or just now?

Sorry for this possibly dumb question, I haven been out of the loop for some time.

I'm sure the Triumvirate box is limited, however they will likely be sold individually for 40-50 a pop. As for the book its likely a single print and when its out, its out.
But this is conjecture.

Some things are flagged that way, like the Plasma Oblit, and the Shield, etc...
Some things they will stock for a while, but then eventually stop and like someone said then they will be released separately.
I would look at it as yes, it will not be around forever but it will not be gone this week.
I think they will last through the campaign but that is my guess.

Priced it out through Ebay. Metal Celestine is going for $20-35... seraphim superiors are going for $30 each right now. After dealing with that metal, it's more economical getting the box.

Worst case scenario pick one or two and find someone else at your LGS or gaming circle that wants the other one or two and split it.
