Wonder if new Szally will mean new profiles?
When you have HRMC, you really don't need much else in life. However the current profile is rather devoid of any special bibs n bobs found on most big ticket units now.
Is that a natural 21?

They're being purposely spread out. Joan is in November(preorders in October) and the Hospitallers are next year, with DeFersen coming sometime then.
The idea is to have the "Death Star" available by the next book.

Terribly unexciting.
Can't say I like Blackjack, the machete kills it for me. Can't wait for Druze, although having alternatives to QK would be swell.
The blackjack pose is awful. It's just standing there like a mannequin. It's so overly bulky I doubt it could be posed any differently.
It's always a head scratcher when a unit that really doesn't do CC very well gets a pose involving a giant sword/machete.

I'm not usually a fan of that either, but in this case I think it makes a lot of sense. That rig would definitely need something like a machete to clear a path and ensure it doesn't get tangled up in underbrush, tree branches and other foliage.

It's an exoskeletal fire support suit...even if it weren't "so overly bulky", what pose did you want it to have? Doing a backflip while rocking out on a Les Paul that fires lightning?

It's really not a huge head-scratcher...
It's supposedly a way to try and make the pose look more "natural"(lol) without letting the ragefist just be a thing.
Truthfully, the same effect could have been achieved by having the SMG on the left arm instead but whoever it is that sculpted the thing clearly didn't think about that one. It even could have worked with the Blackjack laying down fire with his SMG to the left while the T2 Sniper looks to the right since it has a camera system built onto the scope.

The special gimmicks are plenty for the Szally.
HRMC is a rare weapon and the most powerful in the game.
BTS9 makes it tied for the highest in TAGs, and is strong enough to really shrug off most hacking and stuff like viral weapons easy.
The Pilot is a Killer Hacker with an anti-materiel gun, so she can pop the hatch, murder an enemy hacker, then get back into her robot. That's kinda amazing.

So, here's the answer as to why The Warstore no longer has the Beyond packs on their website:
TheWarStore.com We have sold through our initial shipment of these and are not sure if/when we will be able to get more, so we have disabled them until we know for sure about resupply. Sorry for the inconvenience.

GameNerdz still has a few of each. However, they are in Plano, Texas. They are having a bit of weather, so I have no idea how much impact that might have on shipping. Miniature Market has plenty too.

About 260 miles, not that distant. The effects of the hurricane proper, which was about 200 miles across, are reaching far beyond Houston. We'll all see one of them next time we fill our gas tanks :(
Nonetheless, some pre-orders seem to be available.

ITS Season 9 rules showed up. They're wild. I'm very excited to try the remix of the missions, and do stuff with the improved TAGs and buff to single order groups.

Not a fan of the new layout, mission titles are in a strange font/color that blends into the page as you scroll through and it no longer looks like the N3 rulebook layout. Some interesting changes including attackable HVTs, TAGs all get Fatality L1 (+1 damage), no using Stragegic command tokens to strip 2 orders against single combat group lists (was previously only on limited insertion, now applies to all single group lists). PanO has some preset Svarlaheima sectorial lists you can take. Combined Army got 2 of the ALIVE! crew for some reason. Perhaps the saddest change is that the objective room missions are all gone or changed so that there are no objective rooms. Good for TOs not needing to supply one for every table, but sad to see Armory go away. Strange that Tic-Tac-Toe stayed as-is if it's a TO supply issue, needing 9 antennas for every table is annoying. Looks like some of the Wotan missions made it in too, with the split deployment corners. Escalation league point values are still dumb, they add a 6th week and now start at 100 points week one and the odd 120 point round is week 2 now.
lots of other minor changes too

Personally I think the Fatality lvlv 1o to all TAGs is a mistake. The smaller tags like the Geckos and Seraph could have used a boost, but DMG 16 B5 HRMC on the Dragoe is insane.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still use them, but I'll feel dirty doing it.
I'm most excited about the test Svarl lists. Gotta get me some more Nisses.

Fatality on TAGs is good to differentiate them from everybody else, bonus is that now operators after been ejected do not have the same weapon as the TAG.

Some have pointed out that it also only affects attacks that actually use the BS skill, so it won't apply to template weapons like heavy flamethrowers or chain colts. I think it's a good way to encourage TAG use without pushing them into must-use territory. I might just paint up my 4th Gecko and try the double-duo list this weekend
Yes. Yes you do. We are still waiting on a Nisse combi resculpt. And maybe a few new profiles -- probably a boarding shotgun, for when they get fireteam rules in the next ( or after next) book.

I think this is the overall goal of what they're doing to TAGs. Link teams are just flat out better, often for comparable costs. More wounds on the table, more orders generated, more weapon types - and weapons overall, specialists. Often the only area a TAG wins out is ARM, and even then unless it's a MBT you get comparable protection from cover, which is much easier to get for S2 models than a TAG.
However, TAGs are expensive models. Not just to buy, but to develop. They're centrepiece models, so more design time making sure they're suitably impressive looking, more production time to make sure these large parts cast properly and aren't too expensive to make (see the hollowed out Maghariba Guard body), all for a model that is generally seen as sub-par.
So the first buff was pilot profiles. They're all specialists, and all have their own little unique thing going for them (Paramedic with Boarding Shotgun, Killer Hacker, dual Assault Pistols, etc). This helped bring TAGs up in the much more objective-centric game play post N3. Now they're buffing their firepower.
While it's irritating they're 'testing' these changes in ITS, it's a good way to see the competitive community's reaction to them while getting them to play actual games with them, rather than the usual theory-crafting and whining you get from actual public beta tests.
I wouldn't be surprised if we saw little incremental buffs to TAGs ITS season after ITS season until their sales hit the level they're happy with without the competitive community crying foul.
