On topic please.

Cover of bk II is same as the WD cover we've seen.

Starts off in the webway at DE HQ -- in a wych-pit. ...

Carries from end of the Valedor book -- with the DE fighting Tyranids created from captured specimens from both fleets.

Dark eldar are apparently toying with tyranids to make extra killier monsters. I kind of hope they release them for the table top.

Yvraine is indeed a wych who originally hailed from biel-tan. She MAY have killed a seer, became a corsair, and AGAIN killed someone. After that he became an wych. Most likely killing a few more people in the process.

Twitch just confirmed the Girl was a Corsair, she isn't a Dark Eldar. She's actually a CWE with a temper xD the Dark Eldar think she's great because of this, haha.

HOLY GAK. She was killed and reborn, thanks to the new God. The first Eldar to be "touched" by Ynnead.

She's from biel-tan, became corsair and joined a wych cult.

She's also she's the first eldar to be reborn with sentience of the god of death, becoming her prophet. She's been a psyker, an aspect warrior, a pirate princess, a deldar wych and now prophet.

Talk about a thick curriculum.

Yvraine was a CW eldar -- bad tempered, killed someone she shouldn't have.

Became a corsair -- killed someone she shouldn't have.

Winds up in Comorragh.. nowhere else to go.

..might've been as aspect warrior .

..Lilith fights her -- potential rival -- leaves her for dead.....

Shard of Ynnead ( sp ?) -- from end of Deathmasque seems to leap into her/possess her.

So my guess is with the new god, he is defeating Slaanesh, but not in the physical sense. He is defeating him by not allowing Eldar to die, and not defeating him in combat per se.

Well, it's basically a copy of the bible with Jesus. They expected him to defeat the romans in battle. He defeated them in a different way altogether (later Rome would fall due to infighting with the christians and other religions).

In this way, it's the same. By denying Slaanesh souls, and keeping Eldar from dying, you save the race and starve Slaanesh, eventually weakening and defeating the god.

I've also heard that Yvraine started as a Dire Avenger, under the tutelage of Exarch Laaran (who becomes the Visarch)

He followed Yvraine because of his deep connection to her. He became an Incubi, then Klaivex. When he heard of Yvraine's death, he went nuts and became the Visarch

So it's official. Biel-Tan's infinity circuit and craft world has cracked and collapsed, and the fusion started the avatar.

So that's why the avatar is Slaaneshi looking. It's not based off of Slaanesh, that's just how Eldar gods look. The Eldar created Slaanesh, and his look is based off of the Eldar. Same for this one.

splits seems a better world.

Craftworld made of XXXX different ships of all types and kinds.

These seem to be splitting up -- mirroring the political split of the eldar as this development occurs.

As the new avatar is also made of eldar soul stuff this is why there's a resemblance to the slaanesh daemons.

Same ingredients turn similar looking products kind of idea.

Now considering people do that anyway through allies and formations, I don't really have any issue with it.

That's assuming you think that everyone agrees that allowing that in the first place is a good thing. Plenty of folks don't and they criticized 6th for leaving the front door open all night and 7th edition for just taking it off the hinges and posting a "free stuff" sign on the front lawn. I don't pretend to speak for the remaining competitive playerbase judging from the latest ITC poll results but I can't stand the min/maxing and piss poor codex design that results from just taking anything almost anywhere prevalent in the past few years. It used to be that if you were playing an imperial guard army and wanted a close combat unit then you took ogryns for instance or kitted out a platoon for it and players expected GW to at least have some internal codex balance (not that they actually succeeded with that every time though!). Now with Astra MilitarumTM and 7th edition you just take whatever the feth you want from 5 armies and they call that "choice" (to buy) and "synergy" (to cheese) with zero thought towards internal or external balance (hundreds of free fething points in a 2000pt game ON TOP OF FREE BENEFITS in one formation? Wtf gw?!?). People feared unbound armies when they were first announced but it turns out that those are the least of the problems due to the utter lack of balance due to greed inherent in some of the formations published since.

If that crap remains in the upcoming rumored 8th, I'll still sit out 40k for a few more years and I suspect others will too. Dont' get me wrong as I'm not against the conditional incorporation of allies (to a limited extend like max 2 detachments from max 2 different factions, one of which being the 7th ally force at most) or even a single Lord of War model (not unit but single MODEL) or even formations (limited by melding them to a force org chart AND charging actual points for benefits) in "normal" games of 40k but I strongly dislike the forced cramming of all of apoc (minus the SINGLE balancing factor of actually charging nominal points for the benefits, lol!) into every 40k game by default. If 8th edition wants to grow, they need to figure out how to regain players like me. They already have the "I want it all" (for free with no balancing factors other than $$$$) crowd with this edition and they won't lose them if they limit the army building douchebaggery to 2000pts or higher that is conducive to that. The 7th ed/AOS GW of 2013-2015 didn't have a clue and players rightfully fear that a stubborn corporate culture still hasn't learned that lesson since there hasn't been a major edition of a game released since. GW has to prove first (and no the GH didn't prove that... it was a large band aid for a festering wound) that they know what players actually want (pro-tip for GW: it's not being able to BUY a $100+ models from different factions for use with every thematically opposed army like the white dwarf article heralding in 7th edition claimed).

Any others I missed? Where seems to be the next locale in danger?

Essentially. So any time the Eldar would create a spirit being, it would look similar.

Basically though, we are looking at a new faction of Eldar. A combination of all Eldar, Dark Eldar, and Harlies.

WHTV has confirmed that this is not a unification of the Eldar but rather a further fracture. The followers of Ynnead are the Ynnari and consist of those Eldar (both Dark and CW) who saw the splintering of Biel-Tan and the subsequent formation of the Avatar of Ynnead as proof of the prophecy and the last hope of the Eldar race.

Rules Discussion:

Lose previous army rules. No fleet and shoot. No power for pain. New army rule: Army of the Incarne. When your eldar units die, your own units become more powerful. You have to lose a whole unit, but other units gain power. Sort of a reverse Dark Eldar rule. Multiple small units for sure.

When nearby Eldar units die, your army become more powerful. The Souls of your dying comrades will fuel your army. That's pretty cool.
