Hey
So i wonna hear some opinions on my Necron army i just made
(sorry for my bad english im for gemany)

-Overlord
-> Voidreaper
->Phase shifter
->Phylactery
->resurrection Orb
Note: i dont wonna waste my Overlord and just let him sit in the back waiting to get cornerd and killed. He's gonna mess up their backline

-5x Lychguards
->Swords and Shields
Note: they gonna be with my overlord and a night scythe

-Night scythe
Note: its gonna be flying around deploying troups where ever i need some mainly transporting my lychguard overlord combo
Question: can Wraiths get teleport thrue its portal too?

-8x Immortals
->Gauss Blaster

-11x warrior

-11xwarrior

5x Canptec Wraiths
-> whip coils
Note: they gonna be my allrounders, running arond killing stuff if they get ignored or tanking stuff for my other minions

3x heavy destroyers
Note: just to have a little bit more long range Poke/Burst/tank killing#

What do you guys think. please net wme know and or give me some advice thanks

I'm editing this because I misinterpreted some rules. You should still substitute your Heavy Destroyers for 2 x 3 Tomb Blades, though. Also, since you can't charge on same turn as disembark, put shooters in there and make sure your Night Scythe doesn't move further than 24" when they do disembark, or they're only firing Snap Shots on that turn.

yes sounds great but i have 4 questions

1. should i play 2x 3 tomb blades or 1x 5-6 tombs?
2. should i let my night scythe fly in or play it as a glider in the first round
3. should i just let my OL Lychguard combo stay in the back until my night scythe is in prosition
4.can i transport wraiths true my night scythe

First, I'd play Tomb Blades in 2x3 which lets you target two units if necessary.
Second, the NS is a flyer and cannot hoover, it must stay in reserve.
Third, I'd transport Warriors or Immortals in a NS. They can disembark and shoot. Lynchguard is too slow if not transported. I'd leave them home.
Forth, Wraiths cannot be transported by a NS.

For 1250, I like the setup! You've got a horde army setup so I'm guessing you're going for an overwhelming strategy? Not bad at all for a BS4 army with RP.

Only a few suggestions:
- Lose the Heavy Destroyers and grab 2 units of Tomb Blades w/ Shieldvanes (3+) and Nebuloscopes (Ignore Cover).
Heavy Destroyers have 3 S9 AP2 Gauss shots
vs.
Tomb Blades that have 6 S5 AP4 Rapid Fire & Gauss (12 shots @ <12" with twin-linked?? Glancing armour on a 6??? uhh, YES!). This gives you get 18 points back.

Also, if you decide to make this change, keep your OL with the Lychguard, but give them the Warscythe. (19 attacks with armourbane when charging). WIth the Night Scythe being a transport, you can drop them off near armor and they can charge on the same turn they disembark. This will give you 25 points back.

That gives you 29 shooters with BS4, 6 fast attacks with twin-linked and rapid fire, 6 anti-armor guys that'll destroy any armor it charges, 5 melee wraiths that'll chew through tarpits, and 43 points to buff your immortals or warriors.

They can not charge the turn they disembark

Be aware the the Nightscythe doesn´t work like a monolith. You can´t remove models from the table and teleport them out through the Night Scythe.

Not checked the new FAQ but as the codex states no unit can get into a nightscythe from the ground. The only unit that are teleported out of the Nightscythe is the unit deployed on to it before the game begins

Automatically Appended Next Post:
The nightscythe doesn't have the assault rule just like rhinos and most other vehicles in the game. they can't charge when they get out of a vehicle or the turn they come from reserve

it is good for getting a unit in the right place for shooting at the right target or dropping something on an objective. The new FAQs have been released by GW and are official.

This changes the game dynamics for those playing Night Scythes.
I cannot believe that GW makes changes of the game dynamics by FAQs. Amateurs.

They didn´t change it in an FAQ. They changed in when the newest codex was released 2 years ago.

If you haven´t bothered to read the new codex and just assume things have the same mechanic then that is amateurish.

Overlord+Immortals on the Night Scythe. If Lychguards could be replaced by Praetorians then we would be talking!

At around 1200 points you can run Decurion+Harvest, then your bugs all get Resurrection Protocols at either 4+ if part of the Decurion or 5+ with Objective Secured if you choose to have them be a Combined Arms Detachment. I have a 1200 point list as above that has room for the Night Scythe and x2 Ghost Arks.

Alternative facts. I played NS only in the older codex.

i think pretoris are gak. they have a kinda good weopens, cost more than lyches and have lesser defence then lyches

and putting my OL with Immortals is cool but i wonna play my OL as a melee fighter 5 WS (i think its called) with a voidreaper is too strongt o just throw ur OL in ur backline waiting to get cornerd and killed

Oh yea, reread that rule and you are correct. Good thing I never tried to play with that (incorrect) option... IMO, the Decurion Harvest has always been the better choice even over an illegal option. LOL
