I started painting these guys in November in anticipation of LVO in February. I'm between jobs at the moment and took the opportunity to answer the question, what could I get done if i had 3 to 5 hours to paint everyday for three to four months? Well, the answer is 2000 points of dwarfs. I'm pretty happy with how these guys turned out and I've enjoyed my first forays into AoS. The army consists of a big unit of warriors, a large unit of Thunderers, two units of Long Beards, Iron Breakers, Fyre Drakes, Hammerers, a small unit of Fyre slayers, a cannon, a gyrocopter, a warden king, a rune lord and an unforged.

You dwarves there are great. I wish I took my time off and did what you did. I like you I am between jobs as well. Sadly for me, having 9 months off, instead of painting, I fell in a depression. There was times I was times I did work on my Icewind Assault box, but sadly the depression took over again and nothing is getting done. Hoping to pick up that paint brush soon.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Sorry to hear about your depression Davor, not having a purpose can be really hard. The painting helped me a ton, I set ambitious weekly goals and worked hard to stick to them, didn't leave me a lot of time to think about what I wasn't doing.

'Murica! (again)

My Fyreslayers are about done until I get around to a 3rd Magmadroth, as I need more runesmiters. Converting one from the WHQ Doomseeker. Goal is 5 eventually for those douchiest of tunnel/teleport-in armies

But 50 double axe vulkites
10 shields to look cool but only use in a "use everything match!"
15 auric hearthguard
30 hearthguard berzerkers w/flaming poleaxe
2 battlesmiths
3 grimwraths
2 rune masters
*insert bird in a fruit tree joke here*

My duardin being rebased slowly on rounds, moving to an all-unique army like when I was a tween (no duplicate models) though this rules out playing in a GW store/event, but they're jst not doing it for me now. Waiting for steamhead.

Still want a non-Order army, courting Warherds but just going to wait for the Slaanesh part of the Light/Shadow Realms story when that comes.
