The tickets have been on sale for a while: https://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/712995.page

They seem to soft launch some of the event ticket sales.

For those who haven't been before, think a much lower key Games Day event. There's fewer people, so you get far more time to shoot the breeze with the Studio and FW peeps in attendance.

If you didn't enjoy Games Days, this might not be for you. If you didn't enjoy Games Days because it was too crowded, this might very well be for you

For those who have never been to the Ricoh arena before, it's a nice venue, first class IMO, easy to get to, and there is a giant supermarket yards away from it, if you want to save money on food by buying cheap stuff from there

I have never been to a tourney before but £75 seems a bit steep. Is that the norm for tourney entries or just gw pricing? Wonder what the prizes would be?

Runnin up on ya.

So, no discount for kids or is the weekend ticket more expensive for them if than buying it separately?

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

Well, the local X Wing Regional (about 120 players) is £15 a ticket, that's a single day event, but even pro rated that's quite a lot more. Then again, the GW games will require lots more space, terrain etc so while it looks sharp in comparison to most other events I've seen, it is probably not unjustifiably so.

Fair enough, thanks for confirming. Hmm wonder if the £43 gets you into all the tournaments i.e. 40k AOS and BB etc

Oh, Forgeworld team is there? Hopefully we get some word on Fires of Cyraxus... hoping someone bugs them about it.

Can you ask them if they plan to update the Manta? It feels weird seeing the old Manta with the new cool hotness of the Barracuda and Tigershark models. Would really appreciate it if you can remember it that is.

I won't be there, sadly. Can't afford a ticket to fly to Britain. I'll ask someone else to do it

Well, I'll be there. I want to enter something crazy into the GD section if I can.

I wouldn't understand the answer if I asked them to be honest, not a Tau player.
