Ouch. Hmmm.

Good modeling. Painting isnt bad its just... unusual.

Here's my suggestion.

Restart. Basecoat the whole thing flat black. Looks like you have a gray rattle can. Holding the gray directly above it while it on its tracks. Spray from about 18" away straight down. Get closer for 100% coverage spraying from above. Then keeping the gray 18" away and not getting closer hold the cam at 45degrees from the model. Spray all around. This gives you a starting point of a very strong and dramatic shadow effect. Now most orks clans have a single color scheme that carries through their army... bad moons are yellow, evil sunz are red, goffs are black and checkered. Choose ONE color. Not all of them. Paint those areas which an ork would paint... snazy bits. Now go back and brush the corregated metal black. Dry brush over that silver. Do the same with the tracks. Now water down some brown paint. Really water it down. Slather that over everything. This will work like a "wash".

I see youre new to this. Dont be discouraged. Keep at it.

I am more used to painting guard stuff. For this, I was trying to make a Orky camo vehicle. Any suggestion for Orky vehicle camo ( besides painting all purple)

Ork camo is rust and dirt!

Prime and basecoat it. Thin your paints and make the blotches a bit bigger. Make it a three tone camo scheme as well or else it looks odd.

Orks aren't so thick as to not recognise what real camo looks like; whether or not they actually use it would depend on whether the clan cared about camoflaging anything. I;d say in 90% of cases Orks wouldn't bother.

Your camo does look off because of the colour choice I;m afraid.

The biggest thing that looks off to me is the yellow dots. Otherwise it looks a bit gray in areas, but fine.

It could use a simple re-paint. I know the tendency for Ork players is to go crazy and bizarre...but sometimes it ends up looking like this.

Is the grey going to be painted as well?

Vehicle build looks perfect.
The cammo totally looks like the grotz had a go at paintball.
I was gonna say da Boyz, but if they did paintball, you'd end up with huge splashes, right? And then somebody would get a little annoyed, and out come da REAL guns...

No, I get what you were going for. If you want to do kind of joke Ork cammo though, I srsly suggest:
Do the dramatic shadow basecoat, corrugated metal, and etc.
Add dirt and scrapes and bullet holes and rust and wear.
Then some BIG splashes of paint - but with colors a bit muddy and home-brewed.
Then more dirt and scrapes and rust.
Then dirt.
And some rust.

Nice idea though! Show us the next draft.

I hate to burst your bubble, but there may not be a second draft. I will take this all into consideration when painting the next gokamorka vehicle

Aren't the Diggas the humans that think they're Orks in G/Mka?

You could always go with Blood Axe clan orcs, they basically use the same cammo that Guard uses since they trade extensively with the Imperium and even-times work as mercs for Rogue Traders or Inquisitors.

Regardless of the colors used, Orks would still use something that actually looked like a camo pattern. Id suggest looking up some real world camo patterns and then trying to paint said patterns with your colors on some paper first. I always try a new method out on paper first, works a treat.

This would look much better with a repaint on the camo with more practice.

I second basically all the comments above. I'm not sure if you meant to, but your paint scheme looks like Alpenflage.

I personally think it would look fine with more washes, some rust/corrosion, and maybe repainting one or two metal bits for contrast - the only downside to the camo is that there is too much of it. I agree the build is very cool.

Yanno that would help too. Youve got the same camo on everything. Orks are a bit scatter brained so pick a panel or two and use a completely different style of camo and colors as well. And another panel or 2 that is just a welded on repair panel that was never repainted. Scatter brained. Works well for Orks
