This will be the log for my Necron army. I am a very basic painter but I would appreciate feedback on my models.

NOVA

Very clean and nice. My only suggestion might be a highlight or wash on the cape/loin cloth to make it stand out more.

The Imperium of Man: White Scars - 1200, Raven Guard - 110 pts, Imperium - 550 pts
Tomb World: Nameless Dynasty - 270 pts

I used reikland fleshshade on the gold parts. It's quite red. I can't help but feel the photo has washed a lot of that depth out.

I'm having serious issues lining up the power cable that is attached to the spinal cord of the Necron Immortal. It's gotten to a point that I may just remove it, allowing me more flexibility with posing. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have also had this issue, though I did discover that all 5 in the box have very specific connections to cables (not sure if you are following the directions or not, I usually just free-build stuff).

If you haven't already, just pre-assemble all of them to find the cable pack with the right fit, if still having problems, I would suggest clipping and repositioning them

Armies I play:
-5000 pts
-2500 pts
Mechanicus -1850 pts

I've used a really solid glue, like a binding blue. They really aren't coming apart without some serious surgery. I'm a little bit bothered by it. I did line the right tubes up as I was certain they all had specific matching guns, but still they aren't quite matching up and my perfectionism is kicking in.

I'm going to bite the bullet and clip them off completely. The warriors look great just holding their weapons and I think the Immortals will too. Fingers crossed.

Very nice and clean painting. I also really like the savannah/tundra style basing. Is shiny metal what you are going for with these? I would suggest, as Showtime has, to give the metal areas a single black wash to create an aged effect and enhance shading, but if you are after nice, shiny metal then it's not neccessary.
May I know what you used for your photography set up? The photos are very pristine and well-lit.

Cheers!

Looking good, especially the Wraiths. I think you've made a really good job of the greens, keep it up!

Thank you for the comments guys. I've just been saving up some extra coin and dropped a huge order to bolster my force.

Assembled so far, 20x Warriors, 6x Scarabs, 3x Tomb Blades, 3x Wraiths and a Spyder.

Can't wait to paint!
