Does the tractor and crane have a stat line or is it just terrain?

The blurb on the website mentions a special scenario in the box centred around the tractors and crane, so I would have thought there'd be some stats somewhere.

That sniper rifle is pretty terrible.. I still don't get why it's not S6 or 7 given the sheer caliber of the ammo.
As if sniper rifles use 9mm rounds or something.

Calli probably calls for more complex rules (to do with disguise) that might be too scenario specific. I hope they release a scenario built around her.

Umm... exitus ammo 2+ to wound at 72" with a -3 save ???
Additionally with BS of 8, his base to hit is -1. Shooting someone running and behind heavy cover and he's still hitting on a 2+. 6 feet away.

Nope. Went into it quite happily. Just doesn't deliver the goods. I will be moving on from Shadow War. No worries. Just a heads up for anyone looking for that old school feel, it doesn't deliver.

This is the greatest thing in that PDF. I'm guessing we'll see more rules for lone operatives down the road. Callidus and Culexus are both missing, and I would absolutely be shocked if we don't see rules for Deathleaper and the like. I'm still amazed the Lictor isn't a Special Operative for Tyranids lists. Lictors seems like they'd be a perfect fit for SWA.

In all seriousness, I like how GW has been supplementing SWA and hopefully there will be some campaign add-ons in the future, such as a territory system.

Sure with ONE type of ammo. Yet with this turbo-penetrator you still need a 3+ to wound a normal human with a massive sniper rifle.

Popped out of the office to nab the last Execution Force at my local WH. Always thought EF was a bit underwhelming but getting the assassins plus a CSM KT in one fell swoop made it worthwhile. GW take note!

Oddly enough, that's the reason I recommend it - it feels like oldschool 40k! (moreso than Necromunda itself, which felt like a weird 40k cousin)

Not sure if you are talking about the book or the boxset. Depending where you live in Canada there was two boxsets left. Well one now since I bought one boxset last Saturday. So maybe you can pick it up either by going there or through delivery. Not sure if you are interested in it or not. PM if you like to know where in Ontario to get it.

Maybe this is not the aproppiate thread to ask this, but I'll try my odds.
I have played SW:A and is very fun, but as a narrative player it just fails to deliver just as Elbows sais, in the long-run campaings.
Thats why I want to give a try to Necromunda.
I LOVE mordheim, and I have played it a lot, and the idea of something like that in 40k is pretty amazing.
My problem? I don't like the Necromunda gangs. Really. I don't like them! (The Redeemer comic was amazing, but thats it).
So, did somebody know if theres fans-rules for the factions of 40k in Necromunda? Or can I just port the SW:A rules for different teams to Necromunda? Maytbe changing some minor details?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

I'm not sure why the Callidus woudl be sent to infiltrate a lone mob of Orks (or a single Pathfinder Team, or a small group of cultists) hidden in the Underhive. I'll still be pleased if they do rules for her.
On the other hand, where's Snikkrot?

Nice! I did a "counts as" type of thing based on Splinter Cell. Looks like I need to dig out my Fim Sasher conversion
I really hope they don't add Yarrick though.. As cool as the idea of 1 man army is.. we start getting into HQ choices and then out comes Ghaz, Calgar, etc..I really hope they keep it to the non- HQ type special characters (also.. I've not read it yet so if they've already broken from it ..whoops)
