Their best ones of course: farseer, scatter bikes and wraitknight mostly, but also wraithguard and spiders. Psykers, scatter lasers and D shots.

The big spot where the DE suffer is dealing with light vehicle spam; you've got the overwhelming poison firepower to handle most infantry and non-skew MCs, and the lance firepower to engage big tanks, but something like a Gladius is going to be a nightmare to deal with. The quick/easy approach is a Farseer and some scatterbikes (though I recommend magnetizing the weapons so you can field them with a reduced density of guns in friendly games), I don't know how competitive your meta is but a Wraithknight would certainly attract a lot of firepower that would otherwise be smashing up Raiders/Venoms.

I'd suggest grabbing the Getting Started box and running the formation out of that for the time being, possibly expand to a larger detachment if you decide you like them. The iconic 'cheesy Eldar allied detachment', though, would be a Warp Spider Aspect Temple, it's a standalone formation of three Warp Spider squads with BS5.

Dude... do you even play 40K?
First of all, Spiders > scatter > WK >> Farseer.
Second, most D-shots aren't even used in competitive lists.

Then of course, what would fit with the OP's army strongly depends on what the OP's army is... so tell us eddesb, what's your current Dark Eldar army?

Corsairs they fit the theme more are sort of original and hit hard.

Eldar has units good at every aspect of the game. What is your DE list lacking? My DE were lacking survivable anti-tank firepower, so I added Dark Reapers and Fire Dragons in a Wave Serpent. Look to what you're struggling with and see what Eldar have that are good.
Or you could just take the Eldar power units and then your DE can take a backseat to their firepower.

Here's to me in my sober mood,
When I ramble, sit, and think.
Here's to me in my drunken mood,
When I gamble, sin, and drink.
And when my days are over,
And from this world I pass,
I hope they bury me upside down,
So the world can kiss my ass!

I would advise against allying CWE into Dark Eldar forces. It's a slippery slope. Since CWE units are in general just more effective than their Dark Eldar counter-parts, soon the Dark Eldar army slips more and more into CWE until there is no point being DE anymore.

''I'll just replace the Venoms with Scat Bikes, and the Scourges with Warp Spiders, and maybe the Archon for a Farseer, Oooh, how about a Wraithknight?'' - And so it begins.

I'd recommend Harlequins instead. IMHO they mesh better with Dark Eldar, while still being fragile and dark enough not to mix the armies theme too much.

If your looking for Dark Eldar hard hitting units consider the Grotesqurie from the Haemonculus covens book. Mega Grotesques lead by a Succubi (or better, a Shadowseer!) are a very hard hitting unit,

My typical two lists:

Succubus, archite glaive, armour of misery
5x5 kabalite warriors in venoms with two cannons
5x3 reavers with 5 cultrops
3 ravagers with full lances and shields
grotesquerie:haemonculus with scissorhands, 2x3 grots with aberration and scissorhands in each squad, 2 raiders with shields and sails

lhamaean in venom
4x5 kabalite warriors in venoms with two cannons
5x3 reavers with 5 cultrops
3 ravagers with full lances, one with shields
corpsethief claw with 5 ichor injectors

In my experience having as allied a psyker and a lot of S6 shots are the best options for dark eldar, which have no psykers at all and can spam only poisoned shots with a few lances/haywire, and D weapons are always nice. Spiders are extremely good but I think dark eldar need something else.

great advise man im going to consider that in the future

and im never going to get a wraith knight because i dont like to have a big dart board walking across the table. im more likley to buy a wraithlord or some wraithguard.
