In so many stories, it seems that DPs are exalted Chaos Space marines. yet so many Princes are far older than the existence of Space Marines
Does anyone know of any Princes that were not human during their mortal days?
Maybe an Eldar or Ork?

Side question: Is there any fluff of the 4 main Chaos gods interacting with Gork or Mork? Seems old that they are never in the same place.

Yeah, there was some kind of interaction. When Khorne ate Gork or possibly Mork and than he(Gork/Mork) ate his way out of Khorne's belly. Dat's why orkses don't care bout Chaos. WAAAAAAGH!

Gork and Mork shrug off any attack from the chaos gods with a racous laugh and simply continue on their business. Like nasty weather tearing through town the chaos gods can only watch and wait till they pass by. For the most part Gork and Mork don't seem to care about the chaos gods or even notice them in any significant way which is just as well for the Chaos gods. Better if those two go play somewhere else.

gork and mork could krump the 4 chaos gods at eny given moment but it would be like kicking over a sand castle that a little kid is building and orks look for good fights so that is no fun. its best for the big 4 to stay below their radar.

There is old fluff of Gork pretty much ignoring hits from Khorne, while mork sneaks up behind him.

As a whole they don't really mix.

Not sure on the Daemon Prince thing. All the ones i can think of are/were human, but there is nothing saying they have to be. GW just tends to be very humanocentric, with most of the other species just popping up to be target practice or plot exposition.

The Viletide: Daemons of Nurgle/Deathguard: 7400 pts
Disclples of the Dragon - Ad Mech - about 2000 pts
GSC - about 2000 Pts
Rhulic Mercs - um...many...
Circle Oroboros - 300 Pts or so
Menoth - 300+ pts

Have to remember, that compared to most of the universe, and the species we deal with, the Chaos Gods are fairly young. Slaanesh is only 10,000 years old in the setting. The oldest of the Chaos gods (I think Khorne?) wasn't formed until the Middle Ages. The other races we deal with had reached their prime and were already in decline by the time these guys came about.

Khorne awoke first around 7000 bc and Tzeentch second at around 6000 bc. Nurgle is the oldest but didn't wake up till last. Gork and More are some 600 million yrs old (well whenever the War in Heaven happened). With the fall of the Elder the Orks got a vacuum to multiply in and only with the rise of the Imperium have they met a force since that might be abe to hold them back. But as it currently stands the Orks are the most successful race with the largest amount of star systems in their control. Their population is staggering all with strong belief in Gork and Mork.

I always assumed that Gork and Mork only exist as abstract concepts in the Ork Gestalt Psychic field rather than in the warp as gods, so the two fundamentally cannot interact.

No they are real. Ghazzy''s proven that many times. Gork and Mork are not only real but they are taking a very active interest in real space and are instructing Ghazzy what to do to summon them out. It's not Ghazzy that will unite all Orks to begin Ragnarork he hust needs to build up enough waaaaagh energy. Gork and Mork are the ones intent on uniting the Orks in real space.

My theory is its because of the tyranids. The Orks were designed to defend the Old One's galaxy. Nids threaten it and Orks are subconsciously going to do their duty.

My bad, I was thinking Doombreed. Though, statement still stands. young by the standards of the rest of the species in the galaxy lol.

Time and the warp is quite paradoxical. It's possible that though these gods could have been awoken at specific times, they could then thanks largely to how time works in the warp, have always existed. For example Belakor is said to have been given his powers by all 4 gods fighting over him at the dawn of time; but not all of the gods awoke at the same time.

Darn warp shenanigans.

Though if the chaos gods went through all of time, it would leave some major questions concerning the old ones, as the corruption in the warp was supposedly not around before the war in heaven. But that contradicts what you have for Belakor.

Yeah once a god is born, he was always there. Remember the Warp is a place where "causality", "consistency" and "logic" are polite suggestions at best.

...Oh my god I just realized where YMDC is located.

It's more like a great big ball, full of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey, stuff.

Out of curiosity and since it is somewhat related - I was just looking into Be'lakor and could only find his Wahammer Fantasy lore... Which, as was mentioned points to him being around since the beginning of time.

I however could not find anything for him for 40k. Even the 40k wiki is quoting Warhammer fantasy characters for his lore.

I own him, I've fielded him, and I just realized I know nothing about him. Anyone know a good place to find out his 40k story?

~Edit~ Nevermind, helps to scroll down further on the wiki page... >_>;
