Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Blood for the Blood God: This unit can fight twice in each Fight phase, instead of once.

Now what does that actually entail? Does this mean we double their attacks when they fight? Do they make another round of attacks after the fight is over? Is the entire fight, the Bezerker's attacks and the enemy's attacks, repeated? Does this happen in your opponant's fight phase as well as yours?

I know we don't have confirmation but what do we think?

If it is anything like AOS, your Berzerkers will charge/pile in, roll their attacks, calculate damage and all that. Then, they will pile in again for another round.

After charging, or being charged
1) Pile in
2) Choose targets
3) Choose weapons
4) Calculate damage
5) Consolidate

Repeat 1-5.

I think the distinction of fighting twice as opposed to doubling attacks is due to alternating activation for fighting. In an ongoing combat (with no charges), if you choose to activate the berserkers first, your opponent then gets to activate one of their units and make attacks - this may potentially kill some berserkers so that their second activation is less effective (due to lost models). Also, if you had multiple units engaged, you would have to delay activating another unit if you want the bersekers to fight a second time, which may have implications for the efficacy of the other unit's combat. This doesn't seem to matter if the unit has charged though, because it counts as charging for the whole fight sub-phase and all chargers act before all non-chargers. If the Berserkers charge, they get to pile in, attack and consolidate and then pile in, attack and consolidate before your opponent even gets to activate one of their units - though new units may be activatable if you've now piled into them.

Ah, I forgot about the new activation system.

So all my units that had charged attacked and then myself and my opponant take turns activating units that haven't attacked yet in the fight sub-phase (or units that can fight twice)?

Well to my understanding, if the Berserkers charged, they count as having charged for both activations. So they get to fight twice before your opponent gets to activate anything, and remember that each time you fight, you pile in and consolidate. This may take you into combat with new units, but you cannot attack those units if you did not charge them.

Charging is a separate phase than fighting now.

Yes it is. Considering I stated that getting to fight twice occurs after charging/being charged, that has already been taken into account in this discussion. I don't understand what you're trying to add.
