General plan is have the command squads in the Taurox moving up, the scions paradrop in with the prime using his rod. Yarrick and Creed Provide buffs to the Heavy Weapon and Infantry squads (infantry squads are basically fodder).
Sentinals flank and knight attacks targets of opportunity.

It is my understanding I have to pay for the battlecannon first, then replace it with the gatling which would bring it to 124?

Nope, it´s base cost of the vehicle + costs of the weapons.
Otherwise everyweapon wich isn´t the default weapon choice would be way to overpriced.

O wow. Does that work the same for hotshot laspistol to plasma pistol saving a few points there? If so I got some extra point to play with.

With fixing up the points it actually gave me room for another Taurox and added 2 Heavy Bolters to the infantry squads.

Out of curiosity, how are you converting all those plasma guns? I just got my first couple of boxes and was disappointed to find there's only one plasma gun per five guys and in a pretty awkward pose for fielding more than one of in a squad.

That's a lot of Plasma dakka.... I like.

I have some plasma bits in my box that I can cut up. Thanks for the comments so far. Only thing I think I'm lacking is psykers or defense for it so maybe a culexus assassin could be a good fit

Any plasma pistol (the bits are easy to come by, any space marine player will accumulate a lot is spares) can have the top+front, which are the distinctive looking bits, cut away. Then cut down a scion hotshot lasgun and glue on. Makes a great looking plasma gun, even has the tubes going to the backpack.
