It would be nice to have the many FW xenos units that were squatted with the index return for starters. The Orks especially have lost something like 10-15 units since IA8.

After that, more Slaanesh/Tzeentch demon engines, plastic sisters, and a lot more DE stuff from forge world, especially new vehicles. A traditional super heavy tank wouldn't suit them, admittedly, but there's no reason an epic DE super heavy flier can't exist.

I've been dreaming of a DE vs Sisters Imperial Armour book where they raid a shrine world for slaves for years.

Let's go with no.

I would rather this game stay family friendly, and description of the effects of sticky, toxic, flaming goo on unarmored bodies, even alien bodies, are certainly not so.

Guardsmen, hear me! Cadia may lie in ruin, but her proud people do not! For each brother and sister who gave their lives to Him as martyrs, we will reap a vengeance fiftyfold! Cadia may be no more, but will never be forgotten; our foes shall tremble in fear at the name, for their doom shall come from the barrels of Cadian guns, fired by Cadian hands! Forward, for vengeance and retribution, in His name and the names of our fallen comrades!

Pretty sure if murder things like the Daemonculaba sent it screaming over the edge long, long ago.

Though having more Xenos focus alongside lesser Imperium would be nice too.

Incubi Samurai style Titan:
Prerequisite: 5 man Incubi squad. Each member painted in a different colour (yellow, blue, pink, red and black).
Arrives always at the start of turn 2. Though, you must utter the following phrase first in order to deploy it:

"Initiate Uberzord sequence!
Uberzord Battle Mode!"

I'm actually surprisingly content with the units DKoK can take. I guess Missile Launchers are the only thing I know we might lack, but there might be other limitations in the army list.

Then again, I can most likely just take anything with the Imperium keyword so I'll bring it anyway.

The dark behind the eyes.

Dark Eldar:

I'd really love a Mandrake HQ. I've already made a couple of characters out of Mandrakes (mainly because I love the models), and it would be nice to be able to actually use them as such:

Spoiler:

I'd also like to see some actual options for our existing HQs - Scourge Wings, Hellion Skyboards, Reaver Jetbikes. We're supposed to be the fastest army, yet our HQs are amongst the slowest in the game.

As with the Mandrakes above, it's rather depressing when I convert models and then realise that there's simply no way to field them.

Spoiler:

Also, any chance that the Archon's weapons could be slightly more effective than, say, making rude gestures at his enemy?

With regard to Necrons, any chance we could have a little more customisation? I appreciate that this is a minimalist edition, but our HQs are basically the only things we get to custimise - so it's rather depressing when all we get now is 4 weapons (two of which are identical) and a single Resurrection Orb option for Overlords. Also, Pariahs.

Tyranids:
1. Plastic Lord of War. Preferably Hierophant first but would be happy for Dominatrix and/or Hierodules folllowed by Harridan.
2. Transports. Malefactor is in fluff already but a smaller version would be also nice.

Chaos Space Marines:
Slaanesh and Khorn stuff like actual Noise Marines, Khorn berzerkers that aren't stumbling over themselves, and the aforementioned Doomrider, Sonic Dreads, as well as sonic bikes, sonic Terminators, or sonic Raptors! Maybe a sonic tank of some kind...

Plastic Havocs and chosen kits with options, Chaos Lords with options (like the terminator lord, only in normal power armor!), and Possessed that look and play decently.

I would love if Chaos could get access to the Dark Mechanicus either through new units or a modified/restricted list combining deamon engines/warmachines from Index: Chaos with the admech portion of Index: Imperium

Would be cool if ork Mek guns had one low-mid strength/range super high rate of fire gun.

Maybe similar to a punisher gatling canon.

Houston

Was perusing the Xenos 2 Index and while I was at the Tau part I thought some sort of other character in the elite slot that might be neat could be an Earth caste battle engineer or something.

Could do something like repair suits or bring drones back to life.

Also stormboy nobz would be nice. Probably not going to happen, but ya.

YES! It's got to have like, at least 4 rotary barrels on it.

That would be sweet!

New harlequin units would be nice too. Maybe something to deal with hordes, maybe players with two pistols each (since 8th allows that).
And I'd love some leadership-based attacks back.
Heck yeah, I'd love to have gunslinger troupes. They're a big part of my army's fluff.

DE - need the jetbike and skyboard options brought back for HQ's, and scourge wings for the archon too. This whole attitude of not having rules for units that don't have specific models needs to go. If GW isn't gonna release tons of models to represent every possible option (which is an absurd idea in itself) then they need to relax a little on the whole thing. I get that they don't want to release whole units with no models because some scrub would come along and sell them in their place, but there's no reason HQ's can't have options. It isn't hard to convert up an archon on a bike or board from kits already produced by GW. just give us rules already!

Also DE could use a large coven beast unit, either a giant grotesque style model manufactured from another giant beast or a talos style construct. Something as big as the largest dreads, not as large as knights, but able to have a chance to take them on in CC. A giant siege beast/CC monster to be unleashed against big stuff. And FW need to get down and start designing DE vehicles again. Two options is rather weak. We need a large super-heavy floating slave-barge vehicle that can transport tons of troops and maybe operate as a mobile webway portal.

For chaos, I'd like my alpha legion to get back something akin to the 3rd ed cultists they had where they could specialise them. Most of their roles can easily be done already through infiltration (if and when we get that) and unit load-outs and buffs, but we lost the saboteurs, cultists that could infiltrate and blow up buildings and armour. We need them back, cultists with demo-charges and rules to bring down terrain features or tanks. And chaos snipers. Would love to have something like scout squads for alpha legion, with their headhunter background it makes no sense they'd forget about that entire aspect of warfare.

The worst part is that DE models were designed to be mixed at matched - so it would be really easy to convert models with scourge wings or skyboards or whatever.

Anyone remember the named daemon princes from the 2nd ed chaos codex? I remember the Khorne one, Doombreed, and the Nurgle one, Foulspawn. The Nurgle one had 18 wounds I think, was it the only model to have more then 10 wounds in 2nd edition?

Anyway, would be cool to see those guys again.

I'd say if GW really does abandon the Craftworld Eldar approach - I'd like to see Exodites be brought into service. 3-4 kits would be cool.
