Got any hot tips on how to model this one, fam? The idea of a dread mob with with 5+ invuls is pretty appealing to me.

What is the idea behind the "automatic pavise"? Historically a pavise was a large shield with a kind of leg/bipod which allowed archers and crossbowman to deploy them during combat. Is it actual armour on a dreadnought or is it some kind of electronic/power field protection?

If it's just a scrambler/power field...any kind of antenna would do. I don't know which 40K kits have good ones.

Really into this, but again what bit is that? Dude said it's from a 'console from a drop pod', but I build a drop pod and don't remember anything even close to that.

It's the bit right under the missile launcher.

That was glimpsed at one of the FW events last July, presumed to be the official bit for the Atomantic Pavaise. Yet to see release afaik.

You guys are making a pretty strong case in favor me of me cutting apart the deredeo I already have built, flipping the leg joints, and making it a chicken walker.
