Hello Dakka,

Do you think the Deathwatch would welcome Primaris marines? Im seeing the potential for some excellent conversions if so, but I want to tread lightly, so I suppose I also have to ask: if Primaris were not welcome, how fluff bending would an ultima founding chapter designed to house severly depleted chapters wiped down to almost a man in this new crusade? Im picturing an army of marines with complete original chapter colors and heraldry, but like the deathwatch, one arm and shoulder unifies the army as part of the homebrew chapter

I will presume that rules for Primaris marines within the Deathwatch will happen

With how Gulliman is liking to mix the primus together geneseed wise.. I can only presume I like the notion of Deathwatch

sounds to me like you wanna run a mix of Primaris Marines from multiple chapters, if so perhaps the Grey Sheilds might be to your liking? they where a formation of Primaris Marines formed during the Indomatus crusade made up of space Marines tracing descent from each of the 9 loyalist Primarchs. they all wore the herldry of their "home chapters" with a grey chevron through the chapter logo. they ran mxied squads so you'd have a intercessor squad with an ultrmarine, space wolf, Imperial Fist, Salamander and Iron hand each in it, for example.

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

I havent gotten my hands on my rulebook yet, but that sounds absolutely fabulous!

I might put a twist on it and make a group that is made up from some of Cawl's mystery geneseed, aka, unbeknownest to them, theyre all loyalists with traitor geneseed, or even just a group made up of uncorrupted primaris from each of the Cursed Founding chapters...

Mostly, I love the sculpts and new size so much I want to paint all sorts of schemes on them
