so here's how crazy this has gotten. My local gaming store sells GW at 20% off retail. Don't know how, it's more than you're supposed to, they have official permission to do so with GW. don't know what sort of faustian deal they struck but they do it. the new prices are so low, either they're not allowed to do that with these or they straight up simply aren't.

I wonder if this has anything to do with the GW finally taking advantage of the weakness of the UK pound.

Could of sworn there is no hard fast rules at what you can sell at.

generally retailers get it at 50% or 40% i cant recall. so that 30% is profit (+ - all the business related stuff)

The way a local store can sell at more than 15% off is by using a distributor. The downside is that the orders are only fulfilled once per week to the distributor who then has to repack the product and ship it to the store. So the store who deals through a distributor could have a 2+ week wait for a product while those with direct accounts with GW can have their stuff in days, but then you have to agree to their restrictions.

As for the easy to build primaris, I highly doubt it's 5 intercessors but 3 like the starter sets have.

I was planning on buying the smallest starter, but it's just going to be about 25% too expensive. I would get it at the same £20/$40CAD as Storm of Sigmar, but at £25/$50CAD I'll get something else. Probably make an Anvil Industry order instead.
