Just a fun thread of what you think the best value of shots per model. And how effective those shots are.

For instance. Ig inf squad with a platoon commander. At 12" pops out 39 shots for 60 pts. But the effectiveness vs meq is....not the best. Should kill 1-2 marines. Maybe. Vs any vehicle lucky it will cause 2 wounds. But maybe 1.


So to start this off I go with the kastelan robots with a data smith. For 272 points you get 36 shots that are 6 -2 ap.
So hitting on 4s would be half but with either hq or even the cantcles more hits. Wounding meq on 3s and giving them a it save. Vs vehicles. Less wounds but it still would make a dent. The 36" range helps with living as does the t7.

Not sure I'd call it value (or good) but a Big Mek on a bike w/ two Kombi-Skorchas putting out 10 shots + 2d6 heavy flamer hits by himself for 119 points is a hoot.

yeah not much value there 3 Nob bikers with Kombi-skorchas is 183 points and put out 18 S5, 6 S4, shots plus 3D6 S5 heavy flamer hits.
