So, I am just getting back into Warhammer after many years. Are rough riders hard to come by? Do they not make games-workshop ones anymore?

I tried looking on eBay but couldn't really find anything, just a couple of ridiculous priced buy-it-now ones.

I think I have 15 in various stages of being unpainted, which is why I am asking.

they no longer make them.
if you want to run them you need to convert some.

Are they worth anything if I sell them? I don't have anything to use as a reference.

Yes, depending on condition, you can get a good amount for them... depending on if they are Tallarn or Attillan.

Which is honestly very odd. gw almost never releases rules for miniatures they don't sell anymore.

New guard miniatures release confirmed?

I'm using Freeguild Pistoliers horses with Victoria legs/arms/heads and Cadian torsos. Working on them right now.

And they're finished! Not the best painter but I am happy with them.

They are the 'Spears of Glory,' and they are Retainers for my Knight the 'Glory Everlasting.'

Waiting see what Victoria Miniatures does with possible horses in the near future, however I'm actually looking at something more modern like the bike Mad Robot does. They have a 3 man kit and a 5 man kit that comes with legs that fit really well with guardmen torsos, or so I've heard.
Just trying to finalize an idea of what they would be carrying, if maybe one hand on the bike and one carrying a count-as weapon for the hunting lance.

I have a small trader regiment composed of mutant rat (skaven) guard. To make my rough riders I use a bit of green stuff and modified some chaos warhounds.

I'd like to try fitting them with MadRobot/Anvil parts for my not-valhallans.

I just ordered some old school metal Lizardment Cold Ones for Catachan Rough Riders- been wanting to do this for years. I have a stash of old RT-era IG rider legs to use.

I used ten of the old Inquisitor scale cybermastiff with plasma pistols as their muzzles. Basically used as giant hunting dogs with plasma cutters instead of lances.
