Looking at building a SM army utilising Heavy Suppoort particularly tanks and would like to know which SM chapter is likely going to fit this play style the best. Obviously the new codex is due soon, however I being fairly new it would be great to get some expert opinions on which chapter is likely to fit this army best?
Units of interest Predator/Sicaran tanks

Are you looking for a rules distinction or just what army has background justifying the overuse of heavy vehicles?
Ruleswise there's no telling what will happen until the SM codex gives us a glimpse of where things are going.
Background wise the Dark Angels used to have a third wing formation called the Ironwing which was made up of landraider and predator squadrons.

Iron Hands and Salamanders love their tanks. Dark Angels have lots of Land Raiders due to Deathwing.

Mechanically, Iron Hand are one of the few chapters to actually give their tanks benefits.

Rules distinction will obviously help, however as mentioned we won't know what those are for a few weeks yet.
Really looking for the chapter that would fit fluff wise with a bunch of tanks rolling up the board and I guess have the resources (characters etc) to support that strategy.
I really want to order two Sicaran tanks for my new army haha and you kind need to know the faction before applying paint!

How "Traditional" are we talking, 'cause the Iron Warriors were pretty good with tanks.

It's important to note that all the major space marine chapters do use their tanks for effect and you can run any of them as an armored detachment.
Some chapters do have some popular associations with certain tanks, Imperial Fists with vindicators, iron hands and predators, marines malevolent with whirlwinds . But it's all very broad. You could absolutely have a big white scars detachment with heavy predator focus, every chapter (unless very specifically impaired for specific reasons) is versatile enough to conceivably run that.

yes because Matt Ward Wrote the 6th edition codex that made Sgt Chronus a HQ unit rather then just an over priced predator upgrade. he also wrote the rules for the Land Raider Terminus Ultra.. ohh wait he didn't
