How do you thicken texture paints using a brush, I only have a M base brush, I'm asking so I get huge cracks using Martian iron earth

For Martian Ironearth -

Leave the pot lid open overnight. Make sure there's a big blob of paint on the "tongue" at the top of the pot. In the morning, use the thickened paint to paint a super thick layer of Ironearth across the top of the base.
For extra cracks, paint a layer of PVA glue on the base before the ironearth layer.

Also, buy more brushes. Citadel is a bit overpriced for what it is. I recommend Model Painter brushes for a starter. Decent and cheap.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Buy a pot of Ironcrust for large cracks, and save the Ironearth for smaller bases.
Use a teaspoon handle or old cheap paintbrush to do bases, GW brushes are too expensive to use on textured paint.

Ok, I was using it on smaller bases anyway, I'll buy a pot of ironcrust when I go to the GW in Birmingham next week

I'm using it on my skeleton horde, saving the Arkhan the black figure for warhammer world though
The arms on it were a complete nightmare
