After a C&D letter from GW over the double headed eagle on the knight shield (no longer available) he's come up with alternatives that they don't have a problem with

Looks like GW are back to their old ways then. Personally I'd have filled in the open eye and straightened the toes and then told GW to partake of some private self-love, but I can understand why small businesses don't stand up to their bullying even if they'd be justified in doing so.

Naa old GW would have screamed IP infringement about everything, this was very specific about one symbol (was it one of their 'wins' in the chapterhouse debacle?), they didn't even bitch about their kit being shown in his photos

although it's still a shame

It wasn't even one of those "wins". It was a 1-2-1 copy of the Aquila down to the detail. GW weren't in the wrong for this one, for a change.

A simple yet effective add on piece for the new dominus knight kit is my new knee joint. Most of you will know I make add ons and kits based on what I want on my own knights. While i adore the new kits the new 'biggest knight ever' does not cut it for me. Esp when we were deceived into believing it was much larger then the current knight. My simple knee joint add on adds a wonderful 10mm worth of height and provides so much more movement from the joint. I for one cannot wait to cast a pair of these and assemble my valiant. Thank you to @duncan_shadow_louca for the 3d prints

One of those pieces of armor needs to be extended to cover the Knee. But looks good otherwise.

When will these new knee extensions become available for sale? Because I need 3 sets ASAP!

the upgrade set with the missile pod and gatling cannon looks perfect. I have Renegade, and it means I only have 1 gatling and one missile pod across two knights.

Has anyone tried these before, are they decent? is it easy enough to magnetise (as I imagine I need to be able to switch back to battle-cannon or the melta gun thing)

I've seen a couple of bits after painting/assembly and they looked great and the owners were very happy with them,

sorry I can't comment on how magnet friendly they are (but if you facebook you could ask direct)

I bought one of their missile launchers, with a banner, and the casting was pretty good, and it fitted on very nicely. Didn't use the banner though.

You wanted a knee panel you got a knee panel. Now to make more moulds so I can get these ready for the store

I'd rather see a longer, more substantial thigh armor piece than a stopgap looking knee piece.

Looks a touch odd to have all that curved front and side knee joint armour sat below the knee joint, but I can appreciate the effort and that it will solve some folks gripes about the model.

Got my Multibarrel cannon, Banners, and Rocket pods yesterday! Very happy with this order, and it is much appreciated. I'm sure I'm going to need more Banners though, as I want to use them as house designations on my generic Knights.

How many of those candels come with the bell?

the bell and knee extensions have sold out already, they were in my basket last night but they're unavailable now

He tends to take things down when he out of them. Once he casts up some more they will be back.

Yay, got my bell ordered! And went for the gattling gun carapace mount. Taro bits make for good fill ins for the relic weapons- The buzz saw arm as ravager, the gattling gun carapace as the relic icarus. The bell though, is going on top of Hektor when it comes out, with some shapeways armor panels, to make it really fancy.

I've put an order in for the banner/missile pod/avenger gatling barrel. I'll take some pictures when it all comes (should be soon, it's been dispatched!).

Is the bell just aesthetic? Is there a weapon/attachment that it can represent?

I think it's just aesthetic (but it might work for one of the relics, I'll have to check). There was a titan sized one in AT that contained the blood of the Emperor (IIRC).

Hurry to cast up more knee extensions! I need a couple!!
