So do we know when these are supposed to be available? I'd have thought they would have gone up with the pre-orders this weekend rather than the strange army "bundle" things they've got up now.

Probably 1 week or 2 before christmas, with the promotion that preorder and you get it free shipping an delivered under your door on the 24th like last year.

Ah, I wasn't aware that was part of the "deal"; I've missed out on these the last few years.

My guess is preorder 18th for release 24th, Black Friday weekend , wouldn't be massively surprised if direct only this time after last year's reseller shenanigans , one guy on a uk Facebook selling page must have broken down scores of them to resell as seperate units....

You'd get free shipping anyways since they're over the $60 price tag for free shipping.

I wouldn't think they care about the fact people are buying and reselling for profit. As long as GW sell them then why do they care?

If they decide to do direct only then I would think it was because they were so popular. They would know they can sell them all (rather than give FLGSs and online sellers a cut for a share of the risk).

However, I reckon they will be available in limited numbers from 3rd parties again. I'm just hoping there is a tyranid one this year. Need more gants/gaunts...

I really want the AoS terrain box, I don't have any of those kits yet, but it's still $150...

Same with the Tzeentch one, I have the shaman and 6 skyfires already, or this would be an auto buy for me (I really just want the figures as Warhammer Quest monsters). We got, what, a half box of the Tzeentch cultists with Hammerhal? and then there's the models that came with Silver Tower... I'm also looking for an excuse to buy the new giant blue turkey kit...would have been cool to see him included in a discounted bundle.

Are we going to be able to get these at a further discount through 3rd party online stores, etc? That might cinch it for me if so.

Maybe I wait to get Necromunda until after Christmas...none of it is limited release, right?

They'll be a splash release--when they sell through, they sell through.

Also, no way you'd get the Lord of Change in there. That box is $170 and already saving you something like ~$65.

Last year's battleforces were available from 3rd party retailers. If it has it's own box then it's probably available.

I'm doing my best to talk myself out of buying the Tzeentch box when it goes up for order. I don't really have space for more models right now and I really want to sell one of my armies (my Space Marines) before starting a new one, but I know that the next two armies I want to start are a Tzeentch Arcanites force and a Marauder and monster themed mixed Chaos list (already have the monsters, just need the Marauders). I also want to pick up some Tzaangors and Skyfires/Enlightened for Hammerhal before my group starts that dungeon. If I know I'll eventually be buying the kits, it just seems like a no brainer to pick them up at a discount.

Not sure how soon you want that Marauder army up and running, but based on the recent Warhammer Community leak of that barbarian queen and the cool barbarian we got in Silver Tower...I'd imagine we'll be seeing a new Marauder kit sooner than later. I think the current Marauder kit has about as much aesthetic value as the old ham-fisted monkey-skaven...

Yeah, not doing anything with the Marauders just yet. I can proxy in my Bloodreavers (I have like 60 of them right now) any time I want to run the list, though I do find the current Marauder kit to be somewhat charming for some reason.

NM, I hadn't increased the size of the image. None of these three particularly interest me. Eldar or SM for me, please. Eldar because the two Get Started don't really interest me.

A Tyranids one would be fantastic, especially with the new codex coming out this weekend.

I sold off my 'nids many years ago, but seeing the new rules are putting me in that Hive Mind kinda mood once more..!

Darn it, I've not finished building the stuff from the IronJawz one from last year! I like the Kharadron, Genestealer Cults and possibly the Ork one depending on contents.

My squint-fu is weak, but looks like one Broodcoven, two boxes of Neophytes (one miners kit, one military kit), one box of Acolytes/Metamorphs, and a Goliath. That makes 31 models. What am I missing? I don't see an Iconward.

*edit* NM. I forgot the Neophyte Squad kit has 11. Forgot about the Heavy Weapons Team.

Might be wishful thinking but that looks like a page devoted to 2 battleforce boxes. Given the background colour I'm betting/hoping the boxes are linked and therefore the other box is a tyranid one.

Pretty obvious at this point that GW are leaking them a little at a time on purpose.

That is most unsettling, I mean a Primaris bundle has to be coming surely unless they aren't going to bother with any Marine bundles.

Its too soon after the Primaris release. I would be surprised to see a battle force for either them or the Death Guard.

Kharadrons were only May/June, its not outside the realm of possibility that a "Primaris Strike force" could happen.
