I'm lucky in the sense that I *only* play JSA - and apparently I can still play..."JSA"!

But I do feel for anyone who is losing a lot of...JSA stuff from they YJ force.

The whole set looks fantastic. My brother plays JSA so I'm sure this will be on his list. I unfortunately don't, and even if they were still part of Yu Jing proper I'm selling my Yu Jing anyway. I might have to hunt down the HVT though, so adorable.

The Brawler looks fantastic, and since I own Druze I see no reason to not dabble in their sectorial, so I'l pre order for that.

Personally, I'm expecting it to be something like:
JSA and fluff surrounding the Uprising

Druze and fluff surrounding their Sectorial

Maybe another Sectorial. MAYBE.

JSA may be leaving, but their individual units may still be around vanilla Yu Jing.

Is the giant pit droid with the wok on its head a tag? Taking is pretty advanced as a faction so probably unmanned if so?

There's nothing false about what I said. Those are things Carlos said was going to be in the book. We also knew Druze would be in it, as he stated that as well, but obviously he didn't tell us about JSA or anything too spoilery. I didn't add druze as I had quoted Kan's post about them being in the book so there was no need to state that again. There's also things we don't know yet that will probably be revealed next week.

How is it not false? You said those lists would have nothing new, and only be existing units. We know Brawlers are in it so we know there's new units. If JSA are in it, we know there's more.

I had to mute WGC Infinity on Facebook as the mods were deleting any mention of JSA (even list building and tactics) and brushing off any criticism while other people are sure CB is out to ruin their lives with this shakeup.

It’s a silhouette 5 heavy infantry. Could be unmanned still (like the Su-Jian).

In another unrelated question, has there been any word on whether the aristeia minis will be available separately, whether plastic or metal? I'd be interested in picking up a Maxiumus (the traditional PanO version, not the 300 spartan one) as an RPG character mini but the rest of the box holds no interest for me. If anyone has one that they're willing to sell, PM me. Otherwise, I'm hoping that CB sells them separately.

He said "also" it will have armies made of existing models/units. As in "in addition to what we already know is in it." Specifically the new JSA list and Dire Foes stuff.

Perhaps they bit off more than they can chew trying to assemble a big content drop like AF.

Maybe this means CB will publish smaller books more often to introduce incremental changes?
Again, not a bad thing. There are many parts of the infinity universe that have passed their expiration date and really need to be eliminated/replaced instead of just issuing resculpts.

I would like to get away entirely from Vanilla lists. Years of expansion have led to silly profile combinations (fluff wise) being run in vanilla lists & other profiles never being used.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the rest of the new sectorials in this book.

Infinity deperately needs more regular content drops. A book every 2 years isn't great for sustaining interest. While they've got a hardcore following, the more casual peoples interest wanes when it takes 2 years to release most of what was in the previous book, with ITS seasons in between. If they're interested in ITS at all.

Smaller books more frequently will help a lot.

It's even more of an issue when the "book every 2 years" is more/less just rehashing previous content.

Well they are (now were?) still in the process of updating all the books for N3, as well as trying other new things too (Aristeia and the RPG)

with the ITS book drops they are going to do now I feel that will be enough of a book release, but releasing major books at a shorter rate isn't the model they want to do.

How has the reception to Aristeia been with the hardcore INFINITY crowd?
