Subject: Imperial Knights Codex / New Knight models 2018 - Update: New rumors
Yeah, but the kits are massive. Anyway all the speculation will come to an end on Sunday. Either way it will be exciting. I hope the rumour of a knight with a fully modelled interior is true. That would certainly be enough to get me to expand my collection of Knights.

Every Sunday we get a community article detailing the following weeks preorders. Supposedly this week's article will be about Imperial Knights.
Aha, thank you for the clarification. I really hope there's something about Knights soon, I'm a big fan of the Armiger so anything more would be sweet.

First look at all the knight models will be at UK Games Expo, almost certain given that GW are doing a presentation of the future of Worlds of Warhammer and have a big stand there. Which is the day before they go on pre-order - we'll see something Sunday, probably the kit and character which might fit into the original leaked reveal plan. Armigers week after, extras weeks after that or so I vaguely remember.
Might see the other units on display, as think they'll be wrapping up knights pretty quick (two extra weeks) given what the next six months of 40K might bring and this is still before school holidays.

As for the Forge World model, a head swap can make all the difference in the world, in this case a head from Statuesque Miniatures (I cannot find the source where I got the model, apologies!):
Nice idea, I have that model sitting around and none of my tech-priests are women, might as well have a female Questor Mechanicus. I think I have some Victoria heads.

The Polito form is dead, insect. Are you afraid? What is it you fear? The end of your trivial existence?

Inquisition won't get their own. They're part of Imperial Agents. I've been telling people to look at the faction list on Warhammer40000.com. It's been completely accurate so far.
That also means Sisters of Silence will get the full Codex treatment.

Well we might not get it soon but you think GW won't eventually print codex? They are running out of factions to produce codex and they love the print me money that codexes are. It will come sooner or later.

Gw can easily split out some factions to produce more codices. World eaters
Emperors children
Kroot mercs
Speed freaks
Exodites
Black templars
Plus potential campaign books could cover multiple armies and allow for plastic kit releases without needing a new codex, to finish off some of the needed updates of old ranges.

Hell, they could split off every legion and chapter into their own books if they wanted, kroot mercenaries, savage orks, plenty of xenos that have been in the background.
Nothing saying they are done after they get these few last books done.

Would be neat if they showed off the entire upcoming range in one go.

They always do these after the pre-order preview has gone up.

Points wise -
Warden roughly being 411 points rather than 466.
New super Knights are both in the same kit, will cost around 670 points each.
Armiger with stubber now 164.
Pre-order on 2nd June, 9th for release.
Castellan and Valiant both have 4 1 shot missiles - s10 -4ap D6dmg, IGNORES INVULNS
Shoulder cannons are essentially autocannons with d3 damage. 4d3 shots in total.
Valiant - Thundercoil harpoon - heavy 1, s16 -6ap, 2d6dmg. Reroll hits vs vehicles and monsters +d3 mortal wounds if you cause any damage.
Valiant - Conflagration Cannon - 18" range, heavy 3, s6, -1ap, 2 dmg, autohits. But also says heavy 3, d6dmg, so i think something has got mixed up here.
Castellan - Volcano Lance - range 80", heavy d6, s14, -4ap, 2d6dmg.
Castellan - Plasma Decimator - range 40", heavy 2d6 plasma cannon.
28 wounds, s8, t8.

No prob! Hopefully it won't be long before we find out more, like BS and WS etc. Really not looking forward to facing those 4 ignore invuln missiles if they can hit on 2's with a re-roll!

Almost without issue one of them could one shot Magnus. Not that Magnus is seeing much play, but those Knights are going to be insane if the terrain lets them "reload" those missiles, as was rumored.
