Subject: Warhammer 40,000 Conquest, that'll be why they were advertising for part work staff then.
Basically I just want the Intercessors and Reivers and it says that if you buy the first two issues, you would get the 3rd free.
From their FAQ
"You can cancel at any time giving 28 days notice - please contact our Customer Service Team via telephone, post or email. If you contact the team by writing, please include your name and subscription reference. Please note that it can take up to 28 days to deliver your back copies from receiving your request."
Yeah, you’d pay for delivery 1 (£7), then delivery 2 (£24 instead of £32, containing four issues - but bear in mind then you’ll get the super LT model too!
Otherwise just buy issue 1 and 3. £10, instead.
2 sprues you want, 4 paints, brush.

Just seen one on Dave.

Though one point to add, the paints are on it as we know we will be getting those.
But the brushes are on here too.
First time I looked at the image I just thought, yeah the brush set from the subscriber deal coming with one of the later deliveries, but the first deliveries’ tools aren’t on it.
So those must be in addition to any subscriber benefit - which would be cool if so..
That’s 3 good brushes on top of the starter one on the right..

Just go with Forbidden Planet, particularly if you’re wanting 2-3, as it is cheap with the postage spread across a few copies.
All the shops are hunted through by bargain hunters/resellers I’d guess. They’re always quick off the mark

Totally sold out where I live, so just grabbed 3 copies of the first direct. Think il just order the ones I want as and when.
Don’t want the death guard minis anyhow so will just be going for the marines and terrain.

The subscription might be a while. Forbidden Planet have moved the issue 2 release date back a week. Mad Doc Grotsnik on here said it's not uncommon for their partworks to do this early on to gain traction.
Two weeks is the norm for the first issue of a partworks if it's a weekly (most partworks are fortnightly or monthly so weekly is the exception). The extra week will also mean issue 1 is still on sale when the schools go back which should increase word of mouth a little.

I have yet to see the advert myself but several workmates have asked me about it as they saw it instead. Turns out a few of their sprogs seemed more than a little interested in it when they saw it with them too. XD Gave Em a few of my white dwarves to flick through and the issue 1 of conquest magazine and poster to look at.
Seems I might get more Welshmen/women into the plastic crack! Truth be told I suspect a few of them might start it themselves...

It’s because they’ve said they had sent them out on the 24th, so it’s be too late ok that sense. Just a larger gap between Delivery 1 and 2, if they push it back.

I took a look at a copy of Issue 1 today. Good value at £2 for 3 Intercessors and 3 full size pots of paint, but he magazine itself had very little content and appeared to be aimed at getting kids into the hobby...

dropped for a subscription on this just now, I've sort of got a marine army this lot will be going to (the blue paint will have to sit to the side, the rest I can probably use though), Mrs L has Death Guard, when she gets round to doing anything with the models that have been primed and ready for over a year now..
terrain is always useful.
the actual magazines may well end up going to relatives offspring or something
£32 a month isn't massively cheap, but its not massively expensive compared to whats in here, but for me, perhaps critically, I can maybe actually keep up with the building and painting at this rate.
just have until the first lot arrives to get my side of the starter set painted... (I've got a bit further than just primer.. honest)

Still copies in Magazine World on commercial street.
Is that the one underneath what used to be a nerd shop?
On another note- Buying up to 5 i get- thats 3 squads of intercessors for less than a tenner... but 5+, seriously what is the reasoning for this? Just seems like a dick move when there's lots of people who are missing out.
