Ah, right. Well, the leaked list (at least, the one I just read on B&C) does indeed have it down as 4 issues; 75-78. Either that's an error, or the last issue of the four will be the base and flight stand and some extra bits.

Or one Sprue for each issue?
It’s four in the kit isn’t it?

Speaking of the Rhino, don’t you not get the accessory Sprue in the chaos rhino. Just the two hull bits and the chaos accessory bit (rather than the imperial cupola bits one)

Also. The reason I came to the thread anyway,
So my 23-26 hasn’t come.
I messaged them saying it’s been nearly a month without a delivery and they just said 27-30 was sent 15th and will be with me soon.
To be fair I didn’t say what issues, but I wouldn’t be complaining if it was three days...

(And what’s worse, they said I’m getting the binder, which I didn’t want. But I’m guessing it may have been a letter in23-26..

Further though.
I asked, what about 23-26. And also never wanted hinder.

Super quick reply (as I always have from them to be fair),
And they straight away took off the binder cost. Which will be telling, as they said it was posted, so if it comes without binder then we know they don’t necessarily post on the dates they claim.
Yet also. They didn’t answer my query on 23-26. Are they sending it. Did they only acknowledge one part of my message and gloss the rest..
Another message sent..

the chaos rhino has its own hatch/weapons sprue rather than the imperial one, plus another sprue of spikey tat for that real chaos look

My delivery of issues 23-26 arrived a couple of weeks ago, with a set of brushes. No second binder, and no letter about upcoming optional items (just a delivery note for the four issues included). That's all dated on my account as 22/02/19, so I expect to be charged for 27-30 this week.

Are they still restocking the back issues or are they just bring sold as fast as they can get them?

Yes they do reappear, but I've yet to catch any of the really 'high value' issues in stock

they're easier to get via forbidden planet as you can order when they're 'out of stock' and just wait for the issue to come in

Yeah mine have always followed that pattern. Same date charged for these. But two + weeks and still nothing.

Well you’ll probably be getting a binder this time coming.
And hopefully if they sort it I’ll get 8 issues all very soon

I'm sure it was mentioned and I missed it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Lords of Silence novel sample that came in my last delivery.

Spoiler:
Great news – Warhammer 40,000: Conquest is heading down under very soon.

This weekly magazine is the perfect way to start a Warhammer 40,000 collection of Space Marine and Heretic Astartes. Each issue includes models, scenery or paints, so across the series you’ll build up armies of Ultramarines and Death Guard, as well as a battlefield to fight over. The magazine includes your guide to the 41st Millennium, as well as step-by-step instructions for building, painting and playing. In short, it’s everything you need to get going with Warhammer 40,000 – and a great way to pick up models and paints.

The series launches in Australia soon. Keep an eye out in the coming weeks for the first issue hitting store shelves near you.
This is fantastic news! I've been hanging for this since they first announced it. It says the first issue should be here in the coming weeks, wonder how many weeks that is exactly.

Mad Doc Grotsnik wrote:Dunno. GBP to Dollarydoo via GW, it's an even biggerer saving!

For instance, Primaris heroes retail for £22.50 here. And $60 in Australia. At current exchange rate, it 'should' be $42.00 on the button.

So the Librarian, £7.99 via Conquest offers a £14.51 saving. In Australia? It's a $40.01 saving.

Lieutenants are $35 AUS, or £15 UK. Calsius, in Issue 5, is of course £7.99. At current exchange rate, it 'should' be $28.00

Looks like Australia might not be getting horribly ripped off for once, and actually make better savings the UK (albeit because they've started off hideously skewed)
I did a rough price/saving break down way back and it comes out to be about half price or something for 2 decent sized armies and a load of terrain if I remember correctly. Whether the price has held for this long or will be readjusted for "reasons" remains to be seen I guess.

So did some number crunching.

Here's what you get in total...

Spoiler:
Primaris Space Marines
Dark Imperium full
Apoth
Captain
Chaplain
Librarian
Redemptor
Repulsor
3 Aggressors
6 Reivers
5 Intercessors
drawing sword from scabbard guy??

Non-Primaris
BaC chaplain/termie captain
5 sniper scouts
5 regular scouts
3 bikes
1 attack bike
1 land speeder

Deathguard
Typhus
Lord Felthius + Retinue
2 Chaos Spawn
Plagueburst Crawler
Rhino
Myphitic Blight-hauler
10 Chaos cultists
Plague Sergeon
Plague Champion
Icon Bearer
Foul Blightspawn
Biologus Putrifier
Tallyman
3 Plague Marines (e2b)
12 Pox Walkers (e2b)

Terrain
Armoured Containers
Galvanic Magnavent
Haemotrope Reactors
Galvanic Servohaulers
Thermic Plasma Regulators
Accessory Kit
Sector Imperialis Objectives
Ryza-pattern Ruins

Were this available to us Aussies, i'd be a fair bargain!
The FAQ says 80 issues in total. 80 x 7.99 = 640GBP for the full run. At the current exchange rate that's $1124.48AUD
To buy all these kits individually (and assuming it's the easy-2-build kits for some of the primaris guys), Total cost of minis bought individually = $2349AUD approx. This is also assuming there wont be some arbitrary Australia tax applied.
All that doesn't take into account the freebies + paints you get. Which wont tack on a huge cost, but aren't cheap in their own rights.

Two full armies and terrain for not quite half price.
Even if you weren't interested in one or the other armies, that's hard to pass up. If this comes down under, I'll certainly be signing up.
Ahh there we are. Thank you filter thread feature. You are very useful.

It also has another pot of Death Guard Green

$20 is fairly standard for partworks, although I would be expected $25-30 for this one. We'll see, I guess.

Just had the charge appear on my account for 27-30 (and binder) for a total of £39.95. Dated 15th of March but only appeared today (or late yesterday, as it wasn't there when I checked yesterday) and nothing actually taken from my credit card yet. Though nothing on the account about them actually being shipped yet.

The first issue will be out on Monday according to my local newsagent, at the princely sum of $6.99.

UK issue one was a quarter of the full price... So that would suggest $28 for full price issues.

So checking the Australian Conquest site, issues are $20 a pop, with 1st being $5, 2nd $13 and 3rd free if you subscribe.
All that for a grand total of $1558AUD

End up saving $791 if you subscribe. So not quite half price like I estimated way back when it first came out, but still a hefty saving.

I think i'll get in on this.

The AU website has it at $4.99, so that's an interesting markup for the newsagent, especially since subscribing to the first few gives you a whole lot of bonus stuff.

Hmm. I thought we would get to opt out of additional binders. A bit annoyed they just sent it and charged me 8 quid. They also missed out 2 issues from the box (packing slip said they were in there). Sent them and email and will see what happens. Don’t really want to pay a few pounds to send back the folder though...

When they said I was getting the binder I said I didn’t want it, and was only charged 4 issues, binder was taken off.

Ah good, an answer to that question then.

Hachette never replied to my question asking if we would just be sent one or if they would be an optional extra charge, like the art book.
