Errr....I've got issue 79 unopened in front of me. It has one sprue in it. Everyone says 80 will have two sprues. The full kit is four sprues.

Not to mention all the stock photos of issue 79 and 80 conveniently show a photo of the kit assembled without the chunky boiler style sprue. So it looks like it isn't included.

I'll be very happy to be wrong (I bought 8), but we shall see.

I've had both 79 & 80 and you don't get the boiler sprue in either,



this one was in WH: Conquest but came a long time back (issue 55?) as it's sitting part build on my table at the moment,

Hmm see that's interesting.
My #36 came with Steel Legion Drab, Macragge Blue and Anthonian Camoshade.
#40 had Liberator Gold, Wildrider Red and Stormhost silver
#44 had a Leadbelcher refill and Necron Compound
and it says #49 will come with Ogryn camo, Dawnstone and Calgar Blue.

Are Hatchette known for making regional changes to their partworks?

they certainly changed some paints around compared to the first complete lists published so it wouldn't surprise me if they vary things a bit regionally (perhaps based on what GW can supply in sufficient quantities)

it's also possible my list at least is base on the earlier incorrect one (although I thought i'd changed it to fit with what actually arrived)

but overall you should end up with the same paints otherwise the painting guides wouldn't work properly

Oh true. I didn't even give that any consideration.

As regards the boiler sprue, if you look back at the whole collection photo, there is only one boiler present.

In this case, the boiler was delivered earlier in then partworks collection.

As far as I am aware, the cover of issues 79 and 80 has always specified magnavent walkways and never featured the boiler/ alchomite pipes.

My list also may be based on the old list.
But again, I have got big crossed off parts earlier on where it was all incorrect or changed..

My delivery of 75 - 78 arrived today, along with Blade Oath.

Blade Oath is a funny format, it's bigger than a typical black library hardback, but not quite a codex. Like maybe 2/3rds Codex size? It's a weird book to read on the tube.

The additional height makes it quite short in page length, one hundred and thirty pages or so, and there are a few colour pages in the middle.

Hachette have put the art book and silver templars book along with a few other odd issues I've not seen for a while, probably clearing out their leftovers

Echoing what others have said, quite impressed with the preventation of the Silver Templars box.

Quick question, mainly for those in Australia, but elsewhere too I guess.

Has anyone else had the delivery of the subscription gifts delayed? I'm up to up issue 51 (i.e - delivery 13) and I still haven't received the painting handle, brushes or the poster.
I know the painting handle was delayed citing stock issues. But that was months ago.

Well, that's it done with for me.

Issues 79 and 80 received via my sub in the UK.

I know there have been issues for some but mine has been a trouble free subscription. My only contact with customer services was to ask for no more binders to be sent and they weren't.

Personally, I'm wishlisting for the product to be repeated with whatever comes from any future 9th Ed starter.

I’m still waiting on my last deliveries, but I can’t believe it’s almost over. 80 weeks has gone so quick.

Overall I think it’s been a superb product. My only real issue is that deliveries have gotten so late i’ve somehow ended up almost 2 months behind despite being a day 1 subscriber. The items are still arriving so I’m not too fussed, but it could have been annoying if I was waiting on them for my fix.

The warehouse shift put subscribers well behind the High Street.

I picked up additional copies of 79 and 80 three weeks ago just before the precautions kicked in.

Yeah I got my extra issues of 79 and 80 a while ago as well.

I have just had my last delivery, And unlike others I have had no issues at all. My deliveries have been on time and had no damage. I've subbed to the mortal realms and i'm hoping for the same seamless experience.

Well there's bound to be delays now. Unlikely they already have all the miniatures ready for entire series in sufficient quantities. I also doubt they cast their sprues themselves and rather rely on GW so won't be getting more for few months.

Your list definitely fits with what I got delivered in the UK. I do have Cadian Fleshtone from one of the issues, but not seen any Ushabti Bone. I think I only got Screaming Skull with the Templars paint set.

It looks like Hachette have a bunch more of most of the conquest issues in stock (gw restock perhaps?)

their website is really having real problems though (so it could be a glitch that they're showing up?)

Limit seems to be max of 2 of any issue
