Taking third, and setting what might be a record of 9 podium finishes in a single rotation of the challenge, Modock's Dragon-slaying Dwarf!








In second, Feltmonkey with a Sylvaneth Treelord that shows of some superb use of colour and texture.













And taking the win by a very large margin, Keezus with the imposing figure of Mister Graves.







As others have mentioned, quality was through the roof across all the entries this month, it was truly a special round to finish off the year's League. Midget Gems will update the table soon, and once he has, I'll post the final results in full, and also encourage you all to reflect on your entries over the last year and show them off one more time!

To be fair, that consistency has put you only a few points outside a top 10 finish in the League, and on just 6 entries (and this one, not counted up yet). Not too shabby for a challenge with nearly 100 entrants over the year. Keep on getting the entries like that in month on month and you'll be cracking the top 10 with ease!

Not to mention the fact that you've produced some of my personal favourite entries this year, your Levi Dreads are certainly a highlight.

Thanks, I like using these things as simple motivation to paint stuff. I'd be lying if I said I was gunning for top spots...but I feel like having more people in the competition is always a good thing. Motivates me to paint, motivates others to join. 90% of the competition months I enter end up being "well, I was going to paint this...so...it fits!"

I suppose I should go paint that damn Leviathan dreadnought though...

I'm really floored that Mr Graves received first place in votes this month against a very strong field of models! Thanks all.

My favourites this month included Feltmonkey, Moolet, Modock, Paradigm and Chris56 - who I was convinced would get a top 3 finish again!

Going to keep pushing to get better... there is a pretty huge margin between the top 5 finishers in the league table and everyone else. Looks like Feb's finish puts me in sole possession of 8th place after jointly holding it with NiceGuyPaul. Looking forward to the new year. Space Marines isn't my best subject... so we'll see how I fare.

Yep, it was very well deserved and a long time coming; you've consistently put out quality work with a very distinctive style so it's great to see you finally make the podium (this year at least., I think you may have had one or two in the earlier rotations) and in such spectacular fashion as well.

It's a privilege to be in such a tasty sandwich.

Congratulations winners and others on such great entries. It was a month of brilliant painting and to get podium finishes was tougher than usual! Keezus is a very deserved winner with such a brilliant entry well done and so many others could have made it to the top 3.

I'm looking forward to see some of the year I review posts in Nevelon's thread.
