I've been building up a Primaris Ultramarines force. I'm currently sitting at about 5,500 points, with the only non-Primaris being an Imperial Space Marine and Rapier crew. I have RG and I converted up a Land Raider Terminus Ultra. I just realized that it might be best for larger games to get a third Lord of War for the extra command points. The question is, which one? A second Terminus Ultra isn't really my cup of tea, but I'd prefer it to have the UltraMarines keyword. Any suggestions?

Falchions are pretty nasty. We have a guy who often runs one here in larger battles and its damage output is immense.

I'm partial to the Spartan myself, though. I just like the model a lot.

well Since you specificly said PRIMARIS Ultramarines, I'd suggest the Primaris super heavy FW put out recently https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-NL/Astraeus-Super-heavy-Tank-2017

point wise and money wise it'll be expensive, bit it strikes me as a partiuclarly thematic thing to bring out for large scale apoc games

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

The only Space Marine LoW I'd suggest is the Fellblade, all of the othe LoWs look too much like fat landraiders for my taste. The Astraeus is an option if you want a more thematic choice but come on: who can say no to two big guns strapped together?

If talking about the units to fill in "Superheavy Detachment" for Ultramarine, I bet two of them are some sort of FW tanks, the 3rd one is Guilliman. I think one of those tanks can be Spartan Assault Tank? Not only because it is a superheavy tank with tons of wounds, it also has 25 capacity, and I think transport is always goo for marines. Run 5 squads of marines in it and run it along Guilliman, and a Techmarine behind it, and Tigirius to give -1 to hit, it might be decent to throw out 8 lascannon shots and 10 overcharged plasma guns all reroll to hit and wound, plus whatever else your other SH tank have.

The Typhon or Cerberus may be slightly more points-efficient.

The OP did mention he was running a primaris only army, so it really doesnt fit.

My suggestion would be a fellblade, it also kinda fits with the idea that some primaris are heresy era.

I know that a Thunderhawk isn't exactly useful, but it can transport Primaris. I think I've narrowed it down to Thunderhawk, Fellblade, and Falchion.
