Innnnteresting... I'd get another tree or two for more Plaguebearer slingshots. I'd cut down on two PB squads and make them smaller. Otherwise, for a mono-nurgle force, this is gonna be pretty strong and hard to kill!

If I cut down on the PB#s and make them smaller they will die in 2 turns. I did try 3 x 30 and they didnt always make it to the end but the 4x30 (or there abouts) so far have always but mainly 1 unit being relatively fine the others heavily depleted.

I don't disagree, but you need to plan for armies faster than your own with so many slow, plodding units. A keen Eldar player can play keep away unless you get a good charge roll after deep striking; even then, thats what screens are for. Just a suggestion. Gnarlmaws are amazing when paired with Plaguebearers, more just give you more places to play them

How do you usually use/ place gnarlmaws for these "sling shots"?

Yes, i use them myself. Gnarlmaws amplify that... by a lot. Plus bilepipers range cant hit more than a few units without some funky placement. I play dg with nurgle detachments, mainly because i feel like i wanted fire power.

Its just a suggestion, take it or leave it.

You use nurglings to secure landing zones, then deep strike them in turn 1. The goal is to have themplaced sporatically up to around 9" away from your front lines of pbs.

Turn 1, you move and advance your pbs near the trees; this gives them an average move of 10" or so with a banner and scrivener. They are also allowed to charge, this is up to another 13" with banner. You jist want the trees placed to maximize your ability to withdraw and charge again, and get the advance and charge benefits. I havent used it yet myself but its powerful

I assume you are deploying your PBs right on your deployment zone line for you to be able to charge turn one.

Also what benefits do you get from charging... Don't you just take OW shots? Not too sure what benefits there are?

Get into the opponents lines T1, if you can get even two mobs of pbs in there they are hell to deal with; they can hit hard, and -1 to be hit is awesome, not to add all the benefits from poxbringers
