Not interested in the dark elf stuff, but hoping we get made to order releases for a bunch of other old world races.

it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. Their the ones that change the world, the loud ones just take the credit for it.

Reminds me I've got a Fellheart squirreled away somewhere, though he's lacking a sword.

Don't remember the two heroes on Cold Ones at all, may pick them up.

They will be useable in open and narrative play. If you got old the 2017 edition of the Generals Handbook, you can even use them in matched play.

Hm, the only one I would have been interested in was the sorceress who was rising up on tendrils of magic. She would have made a nice alternative to a Hag Queen on a cauldron. Oh well, back to the trade groups.

Oh nice, I think I'll grab the Manflayers. I hope they redo Braganza's Besiegers, I'd love to get some more of those without paying Ebay prices.

I’d linked to the opening of the archives for Warhammerfest. Got confused, thought they were previewing really old models coming back :(

I might be interested on some high elf ones but alas probably comes when I don't have spare cash for miniatures. That's the problem with these one week and no more things. You need to have spare cash for miniatures in hand then. My purchases are generally planned 1+ month before and bought start of month...

I highly doubt you would see Braganza's Besiegers or any of the old Dogs of War stuff.

Remember that the Manflayers came out with/around the Storm of Chaos campaign in 2004ish.

Ah I was well out of the hobby by then. I've still got some of my old dogs of war, I'd love to fill them out a little more. I'm not holding my breath for anything though.

Basically when the Manflayers saw their release, they ended up being a Dark Elf only unit.

Anyone know what was the oldest 40k stuff, they put up in the Made to Order line? We could make educated guesses from what era models can we aspect for the upcomming Fantasy ones then.

I am pretty sure they did a rogue trader era assassin, so anything is fair game so long as they still have the master mold.

You mean a new announcement, relating an issue that had been in the pipeline for over a year, got more likes than idoneth fact #1258 that we know because the army is a month old?

Who would have thought.

Interesting … the Dark Elves aren't part of a Grand Alliance. This isn't "here's how to use your old models in Age of Sigmar", it's "here's how to fight battles in the Warhammer world using the AoS rules".

For everyone who wanted the old setting back, here it is.

Ordered the sorceress on cold one.

Hope they'll do High Elves. There are two or three heroes that I'd like to have, although I'd certainly bankrupt should they offer the old Phoenix Guard and Maiden guard.

Large armies fighting in skirmish formation? In the Warhammer World?

What nonsense, sir!

Why, that would require an entire continent full of dense terrain, such as trees! And of course a great deal of desirable treasure too, ensuring a narrative reason to fight!

There is certainly no such continent directly due south of these Dark Elf releases!

...waitaminnit...

(Just a little gaming suggestion for anyone interested. )

Why skirmish formation? You can field regiments using the AoS rules, after all.

Apparently when they went to do the first run of casts, there was some unspecified problem that means she can't be done. You'd assume the mold had degraded and the first run shredded it or something, which is a real damn shame and why companies who make models should have a bloody archive of master models(although I suppose GW might, and may just be unwilling to go to the effort of making a new mold).

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

'Prudence' really means 'don't invest'. And 'efficient'? That means whatever you want it to mean, usually 'cut'. All really mean 'keep wages low for the masses, taxes low for the rich, profits high for the corporations, and accept the decline in public services and amenities this will cause'." - Robin McAlpine from Common Weal

I'm sure GW has its own archive of master moulds and likely master models as well (parted up and all). The issue will be that sales for Morathie are likely to be too small to justify them casting up a brand new master at this stage. The other issue is that, as a company, they've got to make choice on what they keep in stock and what they dump.

I recall a while back they dump a huge load of their moulds (I think I might have been epic or some other older stuff). Hopefully they hold onto the warhammer masters, but honestly if they are only going to boutique sell them every so often it wouldn't shock me if they got rid of them.

Of course hte best would be GW running a "GW Classic" arm of the company which operates like FW only for producing older stock. Of course the invetment into that might well not be worth it for GW.

That's a damn shame, I just jumped onto the store with the intent of picking up her and the others.

But on that note, did the Dreadlord on Cold One just go up in price? I could have sworn it was the same as the Sorceress when they went up for order, but now the Dreadlord is more.

Where did you get the intel? No news on this on facebook or warhammer community.....

This is sad to hear, who knows what going to be ninja backed up after this fiasco. As I know most of the Tomb Kings, Bretonnian and squatted characters are finecast.... If they have them... Why dont they have the spin moulds for the metal figures its much easier to work with then failcast.

I am super mad a out this. You should make a test run before putting out minis, that you want to print.

O well got Fellheart and the Dreadlord with great weapon and some other character minis, that I wanted to buy for sometime. Wanted to buy the cold one riders but I am scared they will screw up the cast or simple break easily at their foot. They are a bit on the expensive side of the spectrum aswell.

I hope this will be a success and GW will put out some more Fantasy Made to Orders in the recent future.

Now I need to hunt down a Morathi on ebay. Prefarably a metal one....

Also, if people want it I can most new Made to Order Warhammer Fantasy here, if there is a need.

Out of couriosity could you people tell what did you buy?
