I bought a box of start collecting tzeentch from my LOCAL OFFICIAL WARHAMMER STORE and when I openned my box, everything seemed fine...Till I got to the flamers. One of the sprues straight up looked mangled. This wasnt melting or anything, it looked like a freakin' dog or something got a hold of it. Thankfully the damage only really effected one of the sides of the sprue, saving 80% of it from being warped...But I can clearly see that a few pieces either got bent softly or have smaller details bent off. Is this enough damage to warrant asking GW for a replacement? Not to the whole box, just the flamers.

In my experience, GW customer support is very happy to replace missing sprues - I had a Start Collecting - Death box with 2 duplicates of one sprue and none of another, when I should have had one of each to make a particular unit (Black Knights/Hexwraiths) - GW sent me a box of Black Knights, no quibble, which was pretty cool of them.

Obviously that's AoS, and not exactly the same scenario, but I imagine you'd get a similar response for your problem too

For all the flack people give GW for assorted things, their customer support has always had a solid reputation. Call them/go back to the store. They should get everything sorted right out.

I heard one story where a guy bought a box with three vincicator tanks. One of the tanks had a sprue missing, so when he complained to gw they sent one more box of three vindicators for free.

They are good, when I bought betrayal at calth it was missing one of the weapons for the dreadnought, and they sent me a whole new dreadnought.
Just phone them and they will help.

Thing is, the pieces aren't missing, they're clearly on the sprue. It's just damaged pretty obviously, as if it got caught on something pretty badly.

Send a. Photo and I am sure they will replace it, as after all it is defective.

Missing, damaged. No difference. If parjs aren't usable it's defective product and gw customer support is top notch in that regards. It's the highest quality of the company,!

Take the whole box back. GW will replace it.

GW doesn't have any boxes online, and no boxes at the store besides that last one I picked up. My best bet is to ask for a box of flamers to replace the sprue.

and thats proably what'll happen. GW's pretty good at replacing something. I had something missing from something I got once, and when it turned out the store didn't have any in rather then force ME to wait the local manager gave me a sprue from his private collection so I could build my thing.

If there is any unquestionable good thing to say about GW it's that they have excellent customer support. Give them a call and a box with the sprue will be sent to you.
