More specifically to match a sci-fi city in ruins or something similar.

Anyone know a good company?

I like the look of non-gothic/steampunk damaged buildings, shipping containers, walls, etc...

Plascraft do a great container for very cheap.

Please excuse any spelling errors. I use a tablet frequently and software keyboards are a pain!

Not really ruined but they have some more run down looking buildings and industrial stuff, shipping containers etc.

That looks pretty neat, now is that plastic card or cardboard? What material?

Plastcraft is pre-printed foamed PVC sheet.

Foamed pvc is to regular pvc what expanded polystyrene is to plasticard.

AKA "sintra" to the USA.

It's light like foamcore, but superglues readily (and quickly). Superglues do NOT eat the "foam" in this stuff. It's not as hard as PVC used in piping, but it's more resilient than foamcore.
If you wish to make any of their curved structures, you would do well to soften it in hot water first (like you would for resin) so as not to simply snap the stuff.

I've used foam PVC to make all of my Necromunda terrain. It's pretty resilient and.easy to.work with. I've also got a few9f the plast craft c9ntainers and they are great. One of them is painted up in the foreground in the image below. The others are still.wip.

Oh, I agree, sintra's great stuff. I've used it for terrain construction AND costume bits. It's got its strengths and weaknesses like any material, though and it's good to know what they are.

The plastcraft curved stuff has given some of my local gamers conniptions, though - as they just assumed they could just whip them together in a few minutes (you can, if you warm it up first, so it flexes more easily).

Otherwise, you go slow, doing part of the curve at a time, allowing the glue to grab then continuing.
