Well, the model looks fantastic!

Just a shame i have no intention of playing Orks...

And the fact that they stooped low enough to use/re-use/use again the phrase "Orktober".

my wallet is about to get significantly lighter... love it. I do share the concern on size vs the previous one unless its getting a stat upgrade. T5 5 wounds seems silly. of course it will probably stay 4+ but that seems like trukk equivilant size so hope it gets resiliance increase IE more wounds possible t6 with ard top .

Not an Ork player, and we already have one Speed Freek guy in group, but that has to be one of the best GW vehicle models created. It's spectacular.

Yeah the size of the buggy is huge. If they were all grots i could see it being only slightly larger than the ancient buggy we currently have, but thats an ork in the driver seat and gunner.

This thing has to be Trukk sized, if not slightly longer. Wonder if they are going to overhaul their stats to compensate for the size change? Running like 10+ of these would be a nightmare and you kinda NEED that many with the current rules

At the very least, you can rest assured it will be a double box like the Armigers--unless they've gone stupid.

Any guesses on what weapon it's sporting? I'm guessing a kannon, which...............eh.

Still, new models are kewl. Here's hoping they get some more weapon options too.

I think it's a given at this point.

Possibly not in the speed freeks box if the rumour monger is to be believed but later as a standalone.

Remember my little Grots - we still have at least one, possibly more NEW vehicles we haven't even seen. You haven't all forgotten about the Bad Moonz ride have ya?

Have to say that is a really brilliant little video. Had me grinning from ear to ear.
More of that please GW, it was spot friggin on as a teaser piece.

Great looking model! I was almost saddened by the destruction of the old one, but oh well. Orktober is so far away, but at least it's something. I plan to own at least one no matter what.

Standardized weapons haven't really been a thing for 3 editions. New model, new weapon profile.

That buggy, It will ride eternal shiny and chrome.

Dayum, I have never wanted to play orks until this day.

Definitely not Mediocre GW.

There's also the idea that they have been kinda/sorta trying to make weapons appropriate for the platform or giving the platform some special rules to make the weapon work.

I feel like I should add, for anyone who didn't notice in the video, the Buggy has air valves on it's tyres. I repeat; the Buggy has air valves. That's a positive confirmation of air valves on Buggy tyres.

Looks fantastic. Brilliant vid.

Imagine the possibilities of that easily changeable turret.

Big Meks with a buggy 'upgrade' with a KFF anyone?

I want to ram it into something so badly. Just yell WAAAGGHHH as it drives over guiliman or something thus gloriously killing them.

The video ends with the word Orktober.

I think we are getting confirmation when to expect the Codex.

And now I'm feeling the itch to start a Kult of Speed... The new buggies, a few bikes, and some of the Ork flyers? Yeah.

I had theories about Ork vehicles of some sort being more like 'templates' where certain little upgrades or components could drastically alter the role and abilities of the vehicle.

I'm happy to see that my alcohol-induced imagination didn't lead me too far astray from reality.

Mob Rule is not a rule.

Suspension looks even more plausible than the trukk's. Orks somehow manage to still be the most realistic faction in 40k.

Weapon seems to be some kind of energy thing, going by the pipe on the side and the circular bit at the back. Doesn't look like any of the mek guns.

Bases for vehicles could be fun. I've been planning to build my skorchas on bases to keep them held together. Lots of opportunity for modelling; having them tilted over to corner or jumping over humps.

Bit surprised they don't seem to be using the engine design from the dreads and kans or the 'standard' exhausts (used on bikes and walkers). There seem to be two separate engines, which is a bit weird but you have to have some weirdness in orky engineering. Hopefully there will be an option for one ridiculously long aeroplane style one too.

Wheels look a little different from previous ones, which I really like. They look more believable to me.

Just generally very happy about this!

They can come out around the same time...

We got Forgebane in advance of the Knights and Necrons releases.

Well done video, but did anyone else chuckle when they said "21 years", and think "Yep, and this new one will be around for 20 years as well...so I hope you like it"

Oh for the love of Gork! I don't even need buggies, they're already one of the most numerous things in my army but these things are glorious! They look fast (and as people mentioned previously, really long) and I love all the little ones helping out.

I do wonder if that is an energy weapon or like a stikkbomb launcha since I actually don't remember what they look like..

Late to this party, but...

1) Awesome mock Apple ad GW, especially for an Ork buggy. Double awesome points for you, firing on all cylinders.

2) Don't play Orks, but will probably pick up one ore two to de-Orkify the buggy/trukk to an Imperium civilian vehicle. Super hot roddy design.

I might try to pick up the game if it is indeed Gorkamorka 2.0 (but with a better name), but Rogue Trader around the same time...

Pretty serious Fury Road vibe there; dual supercharged engines, external cage. All it needs is a few Thundersticks...

I'm from the future. The future of space

I really like the hot rod proportions. As well it will make kitbashing diy versions from toys really easy as there are loads of appropriately sized and shaped toys to use as a base.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.
