I was watching some tributes to SOB on you tube and I find I like the ones with scars. I like the variety in those heads, but I hope they do another 10 or 20. They do need a few neutral/serene to go with the angry though.

Yeah, these are pretty good but an extra stoic looking one or two would be nice. Why is everyone so angry?

Also, I really like that they have one with a habit, in addition to the helmeted ones.

The canoness and the last one don't seem that angry to me.

Both this and the last preview have been very limited. It's probably just been the goal to preview angry nuns with guns to make a certain impression. Kind of like a theme to the preview. I don't doubt there will be many more heads available with different expressions.

Yeah, I mean, I was being hyperbolic, I realize that not all of them look angry, but the majority of them do.

Good point, I sure hope so. It would make sense, but that doesn't always translate to real results. The proportion isn't really off that of the metal ones though, so I'd hope they will at least have enough of each option that one could choose for the most part. I, of course, mis-remembered their general look, because it's been quite a long time since I dusted off my metal ones, really.

Ugly as in not well done? I think they really good. Or is it ugly as in not sexy?

Eye patch girl looks like her bangs are way too short. Short hair girl looks like Robin the boy wonder. I hope they have more hoods than just the old gal. Fine for Canoness types but I would think younger Sisters might sport the habit(?). Seraphim hand flamer girls and my converted inferno seraphim, as well as a meltagun girl have breather masks as well. Love the helmets. Angry girl would be too much if it was more than maybe just one in the bunch.

Really just don't like the short haired one.

Hoping they put some together with the girls singing. They are supposed to sing prayers as they fight, would be nice to see that in the figs.

I wonder if they’ll release the models with the beta-dex. I doubt it, but it would be cool if they did. I think it would get a lot more people giving feedback if they did.

They won’t, because the army is coming in 2019 and CA2018 is coming this year. So, no.

Seems unlikely they will have much of anything done and in production by then, though we might see that individual one shown at the WHF a while back get released alongside the chapter approved.

The hooded older sister need to be converted to have a bell and robes so I can march around a gaming room, placing it on tabletops where cheesy lists are played and chanting 'Shame, Shame, Shame'

Also, massive bonus for all non sisters players on this forum, it will keep them quiet for at least 24 hours in the new ork codex thread.

please, you know that the codex'll be released for less then an hour before someone posts a thread saying how much the codex sucks. That happens with EVERY codex

Man, while some of these look interesting, and I really like the ideas on show, and am generally just hyped for anything sisters...
...god almighty does the sculptor actually need to look at some noses from the real world.

I'd also really like if they kept the metal-era style of the sisters having slightly 'longer' (not sure if this is the right word) facial proportions, to give them a slightly more noble aura.

AND my god. Top middle. Sister Not-allowed-scissors-unsupervised is grinning like a toddler who's shat their pants, probably because she's just given herself that godawful haircut.
Surely you're only allowed to smile in 40k if you're slaaneshi, or you've got a harlequin mask strapped to your face?

One of the first previews was a full render of a SoB and if I recall they were gonna release a single mini before the release. It is possible that we might get a single mini release with the chapter approved 2018.

This Battle Sister will be the first you’ll be able to get your hands on, a special preview release ahead of the main wave to make the wait a little bit more bearable. We can’t say when just yet, but stay tuned to Warhammer Community to find out as soon as we have a date.

If this thread is any indication, I'm going to have no problem getting multiple copies of that short haired head.

I hope not, I need to whip up "me" models for all my armies. I'm betting that head would look fantastic on an Empire model. After I gently sand down the point on the chin, that is.

Yeah. Every codex has been labeled "horrible" since the days of 3rd edition and the GW forums.

Yeah, the original "Becky" looks like she's bearing her teeth in anger, whereas the flipped shot looks like she's just seen the bathroom stall after Sister Nurgle went through it.

I'm liking the heads of the new SOB so far, they look realistic and like women. Hopefully they'll keep to that and avoid any of the fan-servicey BS you see in third party versions of the SOB.

They look pretty good. I've always hated the doll haircuts, but these heads look much more combat veteran-like than their predecessors. All in all, the model range looks like an iteration in the right direction, even if combat heels and boob armor are still in. Little steps.
