Not much of a needle mover there.
Hopefully with 17 hours to go, and only being $13K from unlocking the...box...they can reveal something a little more compelling and attractive!

Happy to take this beauty over another hero though!
Plus with the way things are worded and the fact that the next goal is another Nazi unit makes me think this thing hasn't even reached its final form..

Looks very Resident Evil-ish.
I'll have to stay at 1$ but now I'll upgrade in the PM for sure. FT: Zero, Dust, this, damn, I'm going to need a lot of uniform grey. Probably airbrush and sponge weathering for all the nazi armour ans call it a day. Well, and a highlight. And some washes. And...and that is why all my stuff is unpainted.

And here's his stage two form unlocked already.
Plus a last minute goal got tossed in just to be on the safe side.
Definitely a lot of minis for your money here. Less than a buck per figure at this point.
Now if Mythic would just start getting their previously kickstarted games out into the wild, I wouldn't feel bad about going all in on this...

Well this campaign closed off nicely for Mythic, good to see them have another successful campaign. I would have thought a Weird War 2 dungeon crawler was exactly what I wanted, but for some reason it just isn't calling to me. Paradoxically my huge Dust collection may make me feel like I've got enough, rather than making me want to buy more. Anyways, I just wanted to say I love to see Mythic and Monolith continue to do well, and not just leave KS to CMON's bored, uncreative games of increasingly poor value.

They showed the digital sculpt in the end of campaign thank you post so likely it will either be included for free in the pledge manager or available for a small fee.

They obviously expected the KS to reach higher, so I hope they will make whatever stuff they had planned available in the pledge manager.

Yesterday was Finlands independence day. We had a bunch of people marching the streets carrying 3 Nazi flags...
I assume it had something to do with advertising Reichbusters?

I was wondering what happened to that one. I saw the preview art pic and looked through the various add ons to find it but couldn't. I like the Tomb Raider meets WW2 GI Joe look.

If you watched the Beasts of War stuff before the KS started they talked about having loads of sculpts/ideas done, far more than would go into the (one) KS, hence the idea of 'seasons' so it's hard to tell if they expected more (i'm sure they hoped for more, but who wouldn't hope) there was also a bit of a kick back in the comments when they revealed Paolo Parente was involved in the box art (before it was shown) in case he 'objectified' women on it, so it might well be they decided not to run with this one in the short term at least to minimise any further grief on those lines even though she'd not anything like these dust 'babes'

It is a 3D model of the box art who is supposed to be a pinup from the airplane that carries the reichbusters, never announced to be a model, but sensibly Mythic understood people would want the pinup as a mini and sculpted it.
Now we will just wait and see how it will be given, add on? stretch goal unlock? we will see.
Seriously I doubt there is significant concern about "objectification" in the consumers market.

They did comment that since some people might not appreciate the pinup style of the miniature, they didnt want to enforce it upon those people by adding it free to the base content. So I can only assume that it will be made available as an add-on once the pledge manager opens. This is what the creators commented regarding the miniature:
Az Drummond Collaborator on November 30, 2018: "The teased mini is something you'll see soon - it's not included in the Pledges now as we know not everyone will appreciate this mini."

Well if it was their conscious choice and not some excuse to make it a payable add on even for the "all in" pledges, bad for them, its a really slippery slope of logic to have and follow.
If it is an excuse to make it a payable add on because of XYZ reasons, like funding or royalty ectr, nothing to see then really.

We can beat the SS, but not the SJW.
I don't see negative comments about pin-ups on a boutique miniatures KS in the Reaper forums (which happen to have a higher proportion of women compared to the boardgame ones), but once you show some cleavage or tease on a boardgame or other less boutique KS, hoo-boy. Even the Reaper Bones KS, which have a large audience than most miniature KS, had criticism for certain female miniatures.

The stretch goal box cover art was never intended to be sculpted. We heard the requests for it and quickly put something together which is what was shown off at the end of the KS. We've not yet made any decisions on how we'll make it available.

Also not that much of a fun for the alternative (and far better) Red Hawk bundled with a paint line I am not collecting.
