Since a lot of the Primaris Marines are given to existing Space Marine Chapters, I am wondering how they will be organized, as Space Marines have very strict organizations.

Are several squads of certain companies replaced by Primaris Marines or is there an 11th Company consisting entirely of Primaris Marines? The Primaris Marines have Captains and Chaplains, but no transports or Techmarines.

First they clarified that the battle companies comprise of 6 line squads, 2 fire support squads, and 2 close support squads. And the appropriate primaris squad type can fulfil the appropriate slot. Basically primaris slots can fill the same non-Primaris slots.

Before the Primaris it was possible for a battle company without assault squads. As assault squads could also be equipped as landspeeder squadrons or bike squadrons. I.e close support squads.

I hope that helps a bit. I am not the most eloquent of people.

I'm not super familiar with the lore, but as far as I know Gulliman also decreed that a Chapter could expand to 20 Companies or something to accommodate the new troops.

I don't think the 20 companies is right. But in the codex:Space Marines it mentions that "new guidelines in Guilliman's updated the codex Astartes provide for up to twenty squads of five battle brothers." So each company is nominally 100 warriors split into groups of 5 or 10.
Also it mentions that Battle Companies can be reinforced with auxiliary warriors, but they come from the reserve companies. So basically the reserve companies can now reinforce the battle companies instead of just being reserves and replacements. This would make the battle companies bigger and reserves smaller on a temporary basis.

Also the codex revision allows for squads from the reserve companies to be semi-perminatly seconded to Battle companies. the practical effect of this is if you field 2 devestator squads and an agressor squad at the same time, they can have the same trim colour without technicly breaking canon. it gives a little more freedom to collectors (and GW's own depictions of model armies) that way. it's a minor subtle change but it's good for collectors as a whole IMHO

Opinions are not facts please don't confuse the two
