My weakness is ebay. Since I'm not willing to cough up the price for NIB, I look for the next best thing - models for my army that need restored or bits piles that need gone through and pieced together.

Fortunately my buying has slowed down a lot as I need to find the time to actually start painting. Some are painted, most are primed in the army color, a few still need sripped and primed.

We're gonna need another Timmy!

I want your reactions of your big armies (before was my back story). Not to help me. It is appreciated however.

Ok. Maybe you should have been clearer in the OP?

I have far too much stuff. I could comfortably cut 2/3 of it without any problem. Probably should. If i had simply stopped at 2 or 3 armies of 2-3000 pts each, I'd be just as happy.

Hoo boy, where do I even begin? Just see my signature for the size of my armies. It's gotten to where storage is a problem for them. However, I ultimately have very few regrets on buying any of it. The only thing I probably would have skipped would have been the Chaos Daemons, and even then I've found Nurglings to be so useful in my Chaos lists...

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2024: 40 | Total models painted in 2025: 29 | Current main painting project: Tomb Kings

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

Just don't ever buy up enough space elves to defend a craft world with..... I still haven't repointed everything since my last buying spree. It's like 15k points of stuff*......I'm on a no buying any eldar mandate.

I'm sure you see the problem here. My new Necrons don't though.

*(edit: craftword eldar, and ive got a ton of DE and some harlys too, but no idea on the points there)

I don't want the best army, just one that isn't an exercise in picking up my models by turn 3.

The game doesn't need super space marines, it needs more variety.

It doesn't matter if you're not dominating the game; if you have 3-4 x as many models and options than the rest of us and you're still getting new kits, we're still gonna rip on the faction. If I had 100 + Drukhari kits all in plastic to choose from, or 100 + Sisters kits, I think I'd be more likely to be receptive to Space Marine player's complaints about anything.

It could be worse. Instead of a metric crap-ton of figures, I could have an extensive collection of severed ears. Seems like a win-win to me.
